THE THEORIES

I for one, do not believe this whole "leaked episode" information for a second. The Mentalist has been around for years, and only now someone suddenly figures out a way to watch the episode. I don't by it. I honestly don't believe anyone who says they've seen the episode. I live in the UK, so I can't access the links these people are giving out, so if someone would send me a screenshot of the link working, then email me: william.wilkinsp@gmail.com

However, I still stick by my original point. For one, Press release copies are the original versions with music, all added special effects etc. This copy people are talking about, is apparently unedited. A friend of mine saw the press release, and claimed it was brilliant, a lot of twists, and turns to look forward to.

So please just stop with the bull**** and let us enjoy, what i guarantee is going to be a brilliant episode on sunday. Heller has put a lot of hard work into this show, he wouldn't let one of the greatest man hunts in tv crime drama history end like some of you claim it has.

I am hoping that the episode I saw was just a "red herring" and not the real final episode.  Maybe RJ will turn out to be my other suspect, Haffner, or maybe still McAllister but with more questions answered and more believable acting.  In one of the episodes this season, when Haffner gets on the CBI elevator, the way he blocks the poster behind him, the letters that can be seen spell out "RED" but then maybe that was just a red herring or I was looking for a clue that really wasn't meant to be a clue and this was just a coincidence.  I just can't fathom that this was the way they ended Red John.  Too reminiscent of the final episode of Lost.

Please don't fall for these theories that claim they've seen the Red John episode, it hasn't been leaked, no one has taken it, and Red John's identity will be safe till Sunday. Those who've really seen the episode have signed a confidentiality agreement, and they won't reveal Red John's identity or the plot.
I believe it all started from these spoiler sites where the writer gave some remote clues as to what we can expect from the Red John episode. These people keep ornamenting those points, and post them as theories. Others just take these theories, add their sick fantasies and come up with new theories. Sick fantasies I've seen before. It's their old ideas added to the current context of the show, nothing more.
I like the way some of them say "it's not been leaked", "it's been taken from the source code of the website", as if that even means anything!!!
Another interesting point is they all claim they know who Red John is but in order to avoid spoilers they won't tell you. Other than that, they reveal literally anything about the next episode.

Don't waste your time searching for a link to the Red John episode. There is none. And if there is, it is fake.

I think most people who know the show would agree with this statement:

"The one sure thing we can be sure of is that nothing is for sure."

Those familiar with Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None:

The
judge, Justice Wargrave is thought to be dead. His body is verified
dead by a doctor.  A few are left, but still end up dead.  Justice
Wargrave was never dead and was the murderer the whole time.

I'm
not saying anything. Just take this at face value. With all the
corruption in law enforcement and little technicalities, NOBODY on the
list could be dead certainly. (Okay, probably Robert Kirkland, but who knows, maybe Reede Smith made up the story and the death was faked.)

One of the odd things that I picked up was while re-watching Ep 6 was that Haffner was the first to show that he did not have a tattoo but if you notice he draws a horizontal line in front of Patrick on his shoulder to show there is no tattoo but HOW does Haffner know that the 3 dot tattoo in question is horizontal??? Also when Stiles showed his shoulder he didnt do a similar gesture which leads me to believe that there might be something more to Haffner than what meets the eye. May be RJ but not sure.

If Batman can change his voice, so can Red John

I hope, Partridge won't be Red John, the-creepy-forensics-guy-that-fakes-his-death is such a trite topic...

But, if it is well explained and justified I don't mind.

I'm waiting for surprises on the next episode!!!
