What if Red John tells Jane that he is really Red John but he did not kill his family before he dies?

Do you know what's really unfortunate? Not to sound depressing, but isn't it a shame that the suspects we have are ALL portrayed by really great actors and (especially a few standouts being McAllister [Xander Berkeley], Haffner [Reed Diamond], Partridge [Jack Plotnick], and Kirkland [Michael Corrigan]) that in 2 weeks, he'll be gone? Lately this site has a lot of posts of certain actors and (ex. Xander in Nikita and Plotnick in Criminal Minds) how they would be amazing antagonists and thus amazing Red John's with their eerie, intimidating and spot-on portrayals of killers and anti-heroes. But, we never really got to see our Red John as Red John, and we won't after E08. Additionally, throughout the series, all of our potential RJ's have had little screen time, and we haven't seen him in his true character. So the reveal (hopefully) will give us only a few minutes of actual RJ time (unless there's lots of flashbacks) and then our actors won't be able to show off their RJ-ness (I really don't know how else to express this). 

I'm not trying to put a damper on the show AT ALL, because I know that we will move on to another story arc and I'm so thankful for the mystery and intrigue in this show thus far, but this is just off-putting to me. 

I mean, Red John has been a complete mystery for FIVE ENTIRE SEASONS. That's almost UNHEARD of for a TV show that has this big of a following; that the underlining plot is still just as entertaining and mysterious this entire time. I'm just amazed at this. Not going to lie, I am so attached to this show and it's going to be really depressing to know that our antagonist of 5 years will be gone just like that. 

Teresa's dream [a nightmare] showed HAFFNER, SMITH & BERTRAM as killers, doing RJ's work, with HAFFNER going for Teresa.  Now WHY is she dreaming about THEM as opposed to Stiles, Kirkland or McAllister?  Doesn't this seem too on the nose then to be accusing Haffner?

Also, RJ says Te-REE-ZAH pronouncing the S as a Z.  Americans pronounce the name Teresa with a very definite S but the Z sound is used in other languages, such as German, Italian and Portuguese

Why does everyone assume that the show will have nothing to do once they get RJ? I have read this multiple times.

The show has been on the air 6 seasons and only a handful have been completely RJ-centric. In fact my wife and I enjoy the ones where they are just solving a new weekly crime and Jane is messing with people's head. They are funny. Some of the best shows...NCIS, CSI, etc are weekly shows with new crimes. I know Jane's purposes was to help while finding RJ but now he has a work family that hopefully keeps going. JMO

Does anyone else think that BOTH of Stiles reactions say that Rj is not in the room, and thus not on the list. His first reaction could have been sarcastic, or surprise, or even an effort to throw Jane off, but the second reaction when he implores Patrick to look at the other tattoos means only one of two things: McCallister is absolutely Rj and Stiles is protecting him, or Stiles is letting Jane know yet again that no one in the room is RJ.

first he was sitting on Stiles right hand and than on his left next to the door

After whay teresa told him about Jane thinking he's RJ he tries to escape when PJ turns his back but Patrick saw him and shot to make him sitdown again, that was the shot we heard before lisbon came and everything exploded.

when first we saw the five suspects sitting McAllister had his hat with him on the couch with his hand always on it. when PJ asked him to move with others the hat remains in it's place.
was there anything Inside it,, after all why bring his hat with him he could've kept it in his car.

in E08 we'll see a Young actor Nick nordella,, i think hell play Mcallister's role,, the resemblance is too much, secially the dimple chin they both have. no any other blue eyed suspect has it.

i'll keep my theory that this Young actor will play a role in PJ's past,

look at haffner, first hi was sitting on stiles right hand and then on stiles left hand next to the door,
i think he tried to escape after what lisbon told him; that PJ thinks he's is RJ.
so PJ fired the shot we heard, to make him sit down again.
we still have to know what happens few minutes later before lisbon arrives and everything explode.

i personaly think that the young actor nick nordella that we're going to see in E08 will play the roll of McAllister only because of the cleft chin (the dimple in the chin) they both have, and no other blue eyed suspect has it. and more, before the explosion McAllister kept his hat on the couch with his hand on it first, i doupt there was any explosive in it but it's just a remark, he could've kept it in his car at night.
