ARGUMENTATION

Okay, I am not actually accusing Lisbon of being Red John. (Not that you should rule it out just yet at this point).

{[(SPOILERS dead ahead)]}

With all the people on the list acting so suspicious to the point that it is obnoxious, all the main characters are drowning. However, in this most recent episode, Lisbon seemed a little off. Like, for example, how much she freaked out over Jane being in danger. What danger? He may be in trouble afterward, but in peril? Naw!

So, this poses some questions:
Does Lisbon know something Jane doesn't?
Is Lisbon Red John (or Jane)?
Does Lisbon think she knows who Red John is?
Did she think that Jane was bringing in false Red Johns and the real Red John would attack?
Why was she so insistent on being there and when she wasn't, suddenly, he was in danger (even though she already told Jane she would let him kill Red John, so it has nothing to do with him being in trouble afterward)?
Would her being there stop Red John from attacking?
Who cares that much for Lisbon? Haffner (former CBI who helplessly flirts with her)? Sam Bosco (her former partner in crime)? Mashburn (her one night stand)? Who? Who?? Who???
And why all of a sudden is she okay with Jane killing Red John and not going to stop him?
Is it because it became personal for her, too? A woman's scorn? Revenge???
What made her change? It didn't happen in this episode. Was it the last? Was it the tattoo?
Who's arm has she seen? Mashburn's? Bosco's?
Is Bret Patridge still alive??? No, he's dead. If he's Red John, then Red John's a zombie and you're watching the wrong how.
Ehem, anywho...How did Lisbon know where Jane would go? A hunch? She seemed certain. Did he tell her and we didn't see? Or is Lisbon Red John? Did Lisbon plant the bomb? Did she need to be there to get Jane out, kill all his suspects, and have him realize he's was never close when Red John strikes again?
Is Red John a mass of people and not just one person?
Is Tiger Tiger a mass of low-level cops who do the dirty work? Are they after Red John, too?
Did Kirkland know too much?
Why did Kirkland kill that Red John affiliate in the hospital and say that he'd be honored to die for this too and hopes someday someone would do the same for him were he in this situation? Why does everyone forget that?
Did Kirkland once work for Red John, but no more (before dying of course)?
Is Kirkland a zombie, too? Wait, wrong show again.
Ehem, anywho...Why was Lisbon so calm in the car, driving to the meeting place for knight of the red table?

Welp, I for one, do not believe Lisbon is Red John, but it seems she knows something. She seemed to calm and unsettled at the same time. I've never seen Lisbon act like this before. Perhaps, she is conflicted...

It seems, due to the tattoo, and basing off of the list, the remaining three suspects are: Reede Smith, Thomas McAllister, and Gale Bertram.

Let me eliminate all three of those. Remember when the guy they got out of prison and he ran from them. He died, while he was with a woman. He wrote in blood on the wall: "He is Ma". There is another letter after the "a," however, it is either illegible, incomplete, or smudged.

The three remaining suspects initials are: RS, TM, and GB. No MA there. The first two letters of the first and last names are: Re, Sm, Th, Mc, Ga, and Be. No Ma there, either. The last two letters of the first and last names backwards are: Ed, Ht, Sa, Re, El, and Ma.... Welp, there is one Ma. It's a stretch, but if the guy was planning on writing backwards and considering the next letter most resembled an S or an R, it could work: Martreb Elag. Only way to get "He is Ma" out of any of the list.

Personally, I think Bertram is a no because he reports to someone and RED JOHN REPORTS TO NO ONE!!! RED JOHN IS THE REPORTEE, NOT THE REPORTER!!!

I think Smith does not fit the build of Red John as seen in past seasons.

I think McAllister is eliminated because of the "He is Ma" thing unless McAllister was the clue, but that's a little far stretched, as well. Plus, I'm not sure Red John would deny he was Red John because it was practically begging for his life.

So, I think the list of seven is not a list of true suspects, but a list of characters who are going to die. Once they are dead, Red John (who has promised to kill and has yet to aside from the girl last episode who had information) will kill someone to say "Hey, I'm still here" just like he did after Jane killed the Strawberries and Cream dude who said he was Red John when in fact, he was not.

The question is, is does Jane know that the list is wrong? Does it just mean that he discovered some of Red John's biggest allies? Is that why Red John was so pissed? If Jane knows, this could all have been an act, a rouse. Red John is out there and still needs to be fooled, but who is Red John?

Jane has his list, I have mine:
Walter Mashburn
Michael Washburn

Which one could it be...? ;)

How do you find this theory?
