Where others see failure I see opportunity.
From here Season 7 can go in 2 directions.
Bruno is still a Genius.
Please allow me to elaborate.
Route 1:(The preferable...)
Red J. returns. Of course, I'm hoping it's Partridge. I could list the reasons why him, but many of you covered that ground before me perfectly, it would be redundant. Suffice to say, that he is still doing what he does best, but perhaps with different trademarks. After setting up McAllister, who owed him a lot, ever since Red J pulled him out of the explosion site, he is still active and much wiser. So the question is why would he come out of hiding now? After all this time? The answer is simple; Jane has a new love interest in his life, he cares about. Sure, Lisbon has to die, but Hey! It would be a small price to pay for good drama, right?
or...
Route 2 (but I'll settle for this one too)
They continue with Jisbon hilarity. I mean come on... Have you seen that scene in the plane where Jane was emotional looking all banal? Because, I sure did. LMAO too, mind you. It was like watching a deleted scene from the... from... well... AIRPLANE! (1980). Of course the humor didn't stop there. No one ever tried to kiss a woman over the table... for good reason. It's not romantic. However, Bruno just wanted us to laugh. And laugh we did. So much that I'm hoping Farrelly Brothers will jump in on for the crossover with their Dumb and Dumber franchise. And if you think that wasn't funny enough, then let's just wrap the whole thing up with a quote from the guy behind the glass, (who stole the scene, BTW):
"Hey! Quit That!"
You see? It's a win-win.
