THE THEORIES

Lisbon let pigeons out of room; maybe they 'spooked him'(Ornithophobia); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbkYPenZXWs; other possible phobia could be 'mild dirt phobia' (Mashburn); i dont' think that any of 6 remaining suspects on the list is Red John; in fact i think RJ is going to eliminate many of them if not all to cover tracks; they all are accomplices and probably on pay list of RJ( his eyes and ears); right now ,considering all , Mashburn seems to be Red John;  Jared Renfrew probably knew about RJ fobia ('enough to catch him') and tried to describe it his last moments...or RJ was not masked (in  hurry) and Renfrew in his last moments saw who he is...

Having just watched Episode 2 from the latest season, a few things are beginning to Irk me.

1. 7 suspects = red john, seven letters - this could be the seven disciples of the red john cult sister cult to visualize started in Elliston in the 80's where jane first met the leader of the red john cult and shook his hand (maybe).

2. In an episode where Mashburn meets Jane outside his helicopter business in an earlier Season, (Interesting emblem above the helicopter) Mashburn got out of the car and his hand gesture looks like he was going in for a handshake but we don't actually see a handshake take place. They tell Jane that Mashburn was threatened by a computerized voice and When Red John speaks to Jane is uses a synthesized version of jeans voice that is pitch changed so it sounds higher but it is definitely Simon Bakers voice. Again hinting at

Tiger Tiger = The other side of me. Dark/Light ? one a lamb and the other a tiger

5. There were helicopters on the wall in the background when Patrick Jane visited the offices where they made the drones.

6. LIsborn has made references to things that by rights she hasn't been told by Jane - so rather than poker, maybe she is a part of the problem not the solution and she is there to mark his progress and feedback information to use against him. The phone tap was a bit of a farce how could jane NOT know she was going to go behind his back, he set that up as bait but it was already pre-planned, Lisborn had to find a way NOT to keep the secret otherwise the plan to kill off some of the list and make her a victim would not work

7. Carmen Lee mentioned by the nurse when Jane is in the hospital room provokes Jane to call Sophia. Who is Carmen Lee and what has he said about her to Sophia, what is the connection between Red John, Carmen Lee and Patrick Jane?

8. Jane obsessively drinks tea, a very British thing to do, but Jane isn't British. Red John speaks well and is very charming....interesting.

9. I still think the blood on the wall left by an early victim was "He is Mad"

so - a few ideas

1. Patrick Jane killed his wife and daughter in a physoctic break and he is subconsciously fighting against the demons in his head by searching to the deepest part of his mind to unearth the root cause - labelled Red John. He is a split personality and his better side attempts to solve the case and free himself of the british villian red john which is his alternate, that's why he hears his own voice because it is him setting himself up

2 He met the cult leader in elliston in the 80s was invited to join and declined and now as he has called him out red john cult is insulted and the leader is set out to break him once and for all but his initiation will only be complete once he discovers the really reason why his wife and child were murdered - because he was married to red johns sister

3. Mashburn or Ellis Marrs and his merry band of Illuminati and Lisbon is his wife

4. Jane is in a coma and when he wakes up all the characters are doctors and nurses in the hospital - a bit like Momento, searching for John G. He was searching for his
wifes killer thinking he was an insurance investigator when the whole
time he was Leonard Shelby a victim of a house burglary that left him
with brain damage. His wife did not die in the burglary but because he couldn't make new memories she deliberately let him overdose her with
insulin.)

5. It's Grace.

One of the four patients on Sophie Miller`s list is named Mitchell Livingstone Washburn. I don`t know if it is just a coincidence, or a clue. I just found it weird and I wanted to know your opinion, too.

About my theory of Walter Mashburn 3 post down under the name TeresaLisbon. This is perhaps easier.

This is the link and it happens around 1:10 minute, when Jane is reading Mashburn.

Here Jane says Mashburn have some kind of phobia.

I still don't believe this theory fully myself but look at this.

-I hear people talking about the list of 7 people is fake. That red John is not on the list.
I see people accusing walter Mashburn as Red John, when rigsby searched at Sophie Miller's house there was a name named Washburn which looks very similar to the name Mashburn.

-Also Walter Mashburn liked Lisbon, and that could be why he didn't kill her.
-Mashburn visited Lisbon in a red sweater.

-Also on the recorder of Sophie Miller you hear Sophie talking about some phobia he has. Look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL336yZCB90. In this video Jane is cold reading Washburn and he says he had some kind of phobia. Coincidence?

What do you guys think?

People are asking why RJ didn't kill Lisbon and speculating that it's because he likes her. Well, Walter Mashburn likes her also, plus, he's always looking for thrills that money just can't buy, and if he's a sociopath (and many big businessmen are), he might be cold enough to get his kicks killing and playing crazy games. Plus, he was wearing a red sweater when he came to visit Teresa at the office, like, hey, look, red! Hint, hint, let's play cat amdn mouse some more !

I don't really subscribe to this, actually, but I do think that PJ did fake up the suspects board, because he knew RJ's cronies, and maybe others, would break in and video it, etc. He knew that RJ would figure out who his suspects were, from how he (PJ) assembled the clues. He knows that RJ is watching him and so he, PJ, has to act as if he himself believes the list of suspects is real. I don't think PJ beleives any of the people on the list are suspects, but he needs RJ to think he does, so that RJ feels secure enough to let down his guard, thinking PJ is off in other directions.

Plus no way RJ would have gone to a shrink and told her the truth about any of his phobias, it was jus a ruse to check out what she knew about PJ.

And again, if RJ is watching PJ, he may find out that PJ has found the tape of RJ's visit to Sophie -- one way would be to see if PJ was testing his (phoney) suspects out for a phobia.

When PJ found out some people had broken into his room he smiled.meaning he had a plan.he wanted them to find those info so they RJ could analyze it so get to the 7 names.PJ also knows that none of them is RJ because if he knew all he needed to do was to take Rosalind in and she would indentify RJ.after RJ left those 3 in that meeting we could tell that they all knew who RJ was.these 7 are all accomplices/assistants. the assist RJ and cover up where ever he messes up.I don't know exactly who RJ is but I'm sure he's someone we all know.he's right in front of us but we can't see him because we are missing the BIG picture here.
