THE THEORIES

All we ask for is questions. I didn't care who RJ was, I just wanted closure. Patrick Jane got it, so why couldn't we? I was really hoping the leaked version was a fake.

Bruno Heller, if I saw you, I'd show you my middle finger. You say we will get answers but then in the post Red John interview you say, we will never know if he was a real psychic or not or that it was all about revenge and that's it! Really? You are writing for the audience. You knew the audience wanted to see Jane get revenge, we got that, you knew we wanted answers, yet we got nothing, just more questions.

Also I didn't know you were dumb as you look, now I guess it's official.

Well, I was pretty disappointed......maybe my expectations were just too high going in.

Kudos to all who figured out who RJ was. Bravo!!

There are still too many unanswered questions even after this episode.....the physical description, the two bombs (what? Patrick brought them in? and knocked everyone out including himself? and killed a couple of people who were not RJ? what??  wait, what?!!?!), the list.... Guess I am even dumber than I thought!!.....

The whole FBI thing was beyond ludicrous. Shut the down CBI?  Accuse everyone of being a criminal because of Bertram?  Treat the proven and capable CBI team as if they were convicted and wanted criminals? None of it was even remotely believable.  But if one intent was to display Abbott (sp?) as the biggest you-know-what yet, that much was accomplished!

Well, let's see what's next and what more we find out.

All I can say at this point is, "Long live Cho!"  Glad he is remaining with the show.....

Still Find it disturbing that the nun tried to kill Patrick and then fled the scene...hmm something is missing here, I know something is really missing. I cannot trust this ending, red john fooled Patrick, better be ready for a comeback of all comebacks

well this is the worst ending to a storyline i have ever seen in my life. i have waited years for the reveal of RJ through countless twists and turns, a fake RJ dying, the list of 7 with many awful suspects on (smith especially) but still i stuck on hoping the ending would give me the satisfaction of a 'perfect ending' (a la Breaking Bad)  But what we got instead was one of the nastiest serial killers of the 21st century foiled by a pigeon, and then ringing 911 for help..
Not only this but none of the questions that needed to be answered have been... (he is mar. physical description. how the list was acquired. physical description. Rosalind Harker etc.)
From now on i will be acting as if the mentalist was ended after season 3, as strawberries and cream was a perfect finale to Red John.

Many of the theories i have seen on here are so much better than what i have seen from the Red John episode, but my if i could have ended it, it would have been Partridge as RJ with a major personality reveal just like Tommy Olds in Flame Red back in season 1 with flashbacks on explanations to the many unsolved answers.

Wow, where are all the immature people who were here for days now calling people names like "idiot" and "retard" and a million other names because many of us were rational, smart adults who knew that TV shows didn't make backup, fake episodes and we knew that this would happen. I'm probably speaking for many of the people who were told their IQ wasn't above 70 because we knew it was a real leak. Please apologize and be an adult. If not, I'll say "accepted."
