I stay in India, and I haven't watched the episode yet, but have read about McAllister being RJ and i must say, it makes me not wanna watch this episode at all. This was not at all expected. Revelation in the middle of the season, is something which is a little strange. They wouldn't do this, because obviously the viewership is gonna go down. if they really wanted to run a business of making this show and running it, they would have pulled it till the end and then revealed. This seems unacceptable, even if Heller says, Red john chapter is over.

It was a serious waste of good 5 years if this is the end. It is very disappointing. Like many fans have mentioned in the forum before, a few of the theories in here, have been better than the actual episode. Also, there are a lot of lose threads which should be addressed and this is definitely not the end.

I think The mentalist will be renewed for a season 7, and the finale would have a murder by RJ. Is he a disciple, or the Real Redjohn? further seasons will tell...rather should tell.. what they think is the end, isn't really the end... I hope it is this way..

This end is not acceptable.. there was so much to be said and done! :/

After having watched the leak 3 times and then watching the aired episode, it wasn't as funny the 4th time around but it also wasn't good.  Since it was the same as the leak it was just bad, VERY bad.  Had hopes that the leak was a ruse and that the ending would be more interesting without the silliness and lack of believability (but then it is TV).  Nope...same old sh*t, different day.

Nothing more to say except the episode was full of pigeon poop.

To me, Red John is always going to be Timothy Carter.

Money rules the world, so they had to drag it on for another 3 years.
Pointless.

Yeah, guys. Definitely not the entire Episode was a shame and lame.
At least one part...and frase was... awesome:

PJ to RJ: "...I have to say...I'm little dissapointed"

Yeah, Patrick. We all are too.

I thought you were smart people, it's obviously that McAllister is not Red John and the clue is how he got the names list, if Jane had listened to him. By the way, I'm going to remind you the third season

Oh My GOD!!
After all this times...all these efforts from everyboday on this site...I mean, through all amazing theories we've been reading... I just CAN'T BELIEVE 'they' did this to us. Such a lame finalle..and end of this great history of RJ & PJ.
Thomas?? C'mon!! ...and asking for mercy?? RJ??? Aham, right.
I think I have another theory: Bruno and his writer forgot ALL about the five seasons...forgot ALL about the history, clues, the drama, the feeling, the tension which were there everytime or every episode connected with RJ (and it went until s06e06, in that amazing end... being that s06e07 was already lame, weak and dissapointed as this 8th). And more...they forgot ALL about us, the fans, who sustends all this crap... because jeez!! they really forgot it was ALL about us.

Oh man! We really deserve more than that...definitely.
I can tell I loved the show through the years...but now... I almost feel as I wasted my time.

Well, that's my feeling. And if you feel the same...let they know that.
Sorry guys. It's finished for me.
