All those years passed ! Thanks for the first five seasons which were amazing ,but at the end everything was ruined in the seasons 6 and 7.


About the last episode , i thought it would be related to red john but this was not the case.
I thought that all the questions will be answered like"how did RJ got the list "...
what about the woman that left after the fight with Jane at the church,what happened to her??

At the end , it was an amazing series from the start till the season 5 . And it was good to see lisbon and jane to finally get together .

I hope there will be a movie that answers all the questions 

Three out of four theories posted on this website were far better than what the producers of The Mentalist managed to write for these two past seasons.

I've read some incredible theories that would have been the perfect ending to this series.
But nooo, the whole Red John extravaganza turned out to be nothing but crap. I am sorry that we wasted our time coming up with these ideas, all these connections between the suspects and Red John.

With this Red John plot, the show adopted a different angle for the current police tv series, it's a shame that it had to end (and in a horrible manner) in season 6. I can't see the point of the season 6 after Red John plot and season 7. At least we expected for something Red John related to be revealed in the final episode, maybe some deeper connection between Lazarus and RJ.

All this time, our minds were awfully tricked into coming up with all these theories, we tended to pay attention to some details that maybe even the producers missed. It's stupid not to have a main antagonist for a whole season. I felt like watching a combination between NCIS and some soap opera show. No plot, no nothing.
But I guess this happens when our expectations were great. Nothing.

Anyhow, thank you for these past years where every single one of the posts came up with an original idea. It's amazing to see all these people being involved in such a manner in this tv show.
I will miss the discussions about the RJ episodes and all the theories. And especially the moment when the RJ episode was leaked, the way everyone hoped it wasn't the real one (myself included).

We had a good run for 6 and a half seasons. Those moments will be remembered!

It has been a long and fun road, up unti this past season or two. Not just watching the show, but coming to this website the day after and reading all the theories was probably my favorite part.  Unfortunately, we are about .0001 % of the Mentalist fan base, so I doubt the writers care about what we think...maybe they do though, who knows?  Anyway, just wanted to say I have had a good time reading all the "shit talk" , mostly people yelling at Stoopkid, Haha.  There is always a possibitly of another season supposedly.  Maybe we will have more to talk about...doubt it, but one can hope.  Hope everyone has a good rest of their lives. :)

Those who wanted before the season 6 the end of RJ storyline and Jisbon stuff ,Are you happy right now ? You killed the series... 
I have to say that the half of the series is based on the complex and mysterious personnality of RJ  and with the way it ended it gained all people's disappointment.

After watching the season final previews and seeing the house Jane wants to buy for him and Lisbon it just occured to me how badly this show is trying to force its two leads romance on us.  I stumbled across a FAN's  video of the Xfiles after the last movie was made and realised that even the fans are better at producing a worthwhile montage of a decade long relationship than Heller and Co. 
Sorry, I know most of you can't stand touchy-feely stuff but this video just proves that The Mentalist really could have done MUCH better.  Hat's off to this video-maker and the 10 years that Duchovny and Anderson NEVER ONCE acted like siblings.  http://youtu.be/TEJ4XdrqYbA

I doubt very much that 3 is some clue pertaining to RJ or Lazarus [but they want us to think that, the fuckers]

I came here, one last time, just to give you an advice that really saved me from the frustration of this circus called "The Mentalist" People, i just quit watching... and i feel great. Red John is not coming back.....i am instantly disliking the Mentalist.
 
And i am sending hate to Heller- the true Red John, that killed this series. Also i am sending a BIG hate to Simon Baker, who accepted the plot as it is. Good job,
