THE THEORIES

Just some more information gathered

Watch this video again of Lisbon finding Partridge. At the 2:46 mark you can see Partridge's left arm. There is no blood on it at all/ This can mean one of many things

a) RJ cut off his tattoo after attacking Lisbon

b) Someone in Tyger/Tyger cut it off so theri organization would stay secret. At this time no one knew of the tattoos.

c) Partridge never had his arm cut so the body in the morgue wasn't his.

I'm not a fan of the Partridge being alive theory because it flies in the face of Cho, Lisbon, Jane and a host of others missing that it was not him and it was faked and before Lisbon went in the house, it would assume that she would be the one to find him and not another group of cops. BUT this is suspicious and might be the hidden clue.

On a side note Partridge said in the first episodes that RJ drew the face with 3 fingers. I know a face is small but the person painting on Lisbons face is kind of doodling with a finger.

I have so many theories but not sure where they go

A mystery still Lingers????? What .

This should be an episode that satisfies many out there looking for some sort of closure into what has been a long-running, at-times complicated story. There are twists aplenty, and there is also a great Jane moment where you once again realize just how smart the man really is. While the site’s Matt Mitovich claims that there is possibly a mystery that will still linger from this episode, that is disputed by other reporters. (END)

[Lisbon] tells him that she doesn’t believe that he’s giving up, and he makes very clear that there’s a difference between giving up and letting go. And I leave that to the viewers and to the next episode to get into exactly what that means. … It’s difficult to comment on Jane’s mental state in the best of times. As a Mentalist writer, there’s always the challenge of trying to write somebody who is smarter than you. Therefore, you can only give a vague approximation of what is going on in his head. To answer what is actually going through his mind is pretty difficult, but it’s safe to say that his brain is firing on all cylinders at this point.”

Who's sadder, the people who still think Partridge is alive or the people who thought it would be Stiles?

Stiles is too egotistical to have a secret identity like Red John. He wants to be admired as Brett Stiles, not as Red John. It's his entire character. His ego would not permit a secret, second identity. And seriously, of course it wasn't stiles. McDowell is too obvious as a villain character (the kind of character he plays almost exclusively) and he wouldn't have been on the Visualize farm because he leads Visualize. It was probably just some side project he didn't oversee himself.

Stiles? The least logical choice to be RJ.

At least the Partridge camp has SOME reason behind it, though it's not looking very good for them.

But hey, what do I know? I thought it was Haffner or Smith.

Red John never leave clues or traces. If he does, you gonna wonder why, not how!

So why he left clue: "He Is Mar"?

He could remove it after killed Renfrew but for some reason he left it on the wall or...maybe is a clue
left intentionally from him.

It's very weird...

Just noticed that Sheriff surpassed Kirkland I'm votes. Haha! It was just last week that he was 6th, only Smith trailed him with fewer votes! I predict that Sheriff will surpass Haffner in votes prior to Sunday.

First of all, I love everyone who posted your thoughts and theory on this site. Reading them are so much fun.

Many of you have very solid arguments. However, I think there's one important aspect many of the theories fail to address:

Could you please try to explain about the bomb in Jane's house?

To be more specific: Who planted it? And for what purpose? What do you think happened before the bomb went off? And, if the person who planted the bomb was also in the house, how did he make sure he can walk away without getting hurt?

If you can't answer that, I think it's very hard for me to believe you have the right person as RJ.

Hit "Green" if you agree with me.
Hit "Red" if you think that's irrelevant.

Some other thoughts about the promo :

I wouldn't read in too much about the 6x08 promo. I find it hard to disagree that the person in church with PJ is indeed McAllister. But that does not mean McAllister is RJ. Yes we hear RJ says "The game's over and I won". But I didn't see those words coming out from McAllister's mouth. Very likely McAllister is sent by RJ. Remember Timothy Carter? I don't think RJ will just show up and let PJ shoot him.
