Look how classy Red John would have been if they have developed his character more throughout the season, instead of showing him in only one episode in 5 seasons. A shame they didn't use the character until his name was revealed on the list.

People who are sure that Red John is still alive and call others "dumbfucks" successfully destroyed this website. I won't be coming back to this mental institution. I'm sure I'm not the only one who comes here sometimes and feels like Jack Nicholson from One flew over the cuckoo's nest. This place has become a loony bin. You can tell by the number of likes and unlikes. Nobody cares anymore.

Why was Sheriff Thomas McAllister even on the list in the first place?

Remember, in The Red Barn episode, Patrick told Lisbon something like "400 people on the list are people I never ever saw or heard from again, which means they're not Red John"

Sheriff McAllister was one of them! After season 1 episode 2 we never saw him again. Or did we and I missed it?

Anyway, McAllister being Red John is the worst thing that could happen to the series and I think Bruno Heller signed his series death warrant in episode 8.

Listen, I know Bruno Heller has tricked the audience before but this isnt a trick! When Timothy Carter died, Bruno Heller said we would just have to wait and see if its the real Red  John or not. He's not saying that this time. Plus, there's no way the actors would reveal little things like fact that Simon was doing Red John's voice for years..if Red John wasn't really dead.  He's dead! Plain and simple.

There are people who still believe Red John is alive? Seriously? He's dead, please accept it and move on!!  You're never going to get the answers you want and I know that sucks but quit going on about him being alive!!
The Red John storyline is over.

I guess even after the series finale there will be people saying Red John is still alive. No one will be ever satisfied with an answer. McAllister (I think it was a great Red John, with lack of explanations, bad script and etc) is not good enough for some people. If it was Partridge, there will be a lot of people unsatisfied, if it was Kirkland, same thing, and the same thing to the rest of the suspects.

People can't just accept the fact that the series is moving on, that Red John is dead. I guess even when the series is over there will be people like "Oh, Red John is still alive, its 'that guy', he was the mastermind behind every fuking episode and Heller want us to think he is dead".

This is just like the 5 Stages of Grief:

1 - Denial: People just cant accept McAllister as Red John;
2 - Anger: Fuck you, Bruno Heller! Your show sucks, you suck!;
3 - Bargaining: Well, maybe Red John is still alive, maybe McAllister was just another follower like Timothy Carter;
4 - Depression: (This is when people will realize Red John was indeed DEAD and it was McAllister, problably near the series finale);
5 - Acceptance: Looping on stage 1.
