THE THEORIES

I miss Red John... I want him back. Even some flash backs of him killing/making the tricks would do. Or a web series about it! Anyways the new episode looked really mediocre in my opinion.

What do you think?

First, we all knew it wasnt Bertram.

Sherrif was my second guess, the best characther for the job, a friendly hunter. He wasnt my first because EVERYONE GOT SURPRISED WITH HIM IN THE LIST. NO ONE HAD REASON TO SUSPECT HIM BEFORE THIS SEASON. Was this a puzzle? No, because we couldnt find out, just guess. He should learn with "inception". The movie its self was An inception. This wasnt a puzzle.

I expected the Rj showing him self at the last moment, when we find out it's not the other. The only thing is i hoped to be Stiles the fake RJ and Haffner the real RJ revealing him self.

I think it's because he called Lisbon and told so. At least he Thinks it's over. But, if noone knows who Rj is, what about cordero? . I hope RJ is alive, but probably will appear someone else connected to him.

This blog was for nothing, almost useless,, the RJ wasnt chose before. They just decided the less likely one to be the RJ.

I've just finished watching the S05EP13, "The Red Barn" and I got pissed off.

In the last scene of the episode we see Lisbon and Jane at his "place" in CBI, talking about the list of possible Red John suspects. He says that from the 2100+ people he has shaken hands with after his wife and daughter were killed the 800+ are women and RJ is probably a man. Then he says that from the 1300 remaining names the 100+ are excluded because he only met them or talked to them a little and never saw them again ever after.

So, why the hell McAllister is in the list at the first place?
God.Heller is playing us.

I think next Sunday's episode will be crucial for the ratings..Tonight probably a lot of people will still watch it, because either they are hoping there will be some more explanation about Red John, or they just want to see how Patrick is getting on after 2 years.

Tonight's episode is the test to see if the writers have any kind of talent and intelligence to keep the audience. I hope they are not stupid and do something very exciting that will make us want to tune in after the disaster episode. Somehow, I wouldn't bet on it though..

No theories or thoughts or anything in this post, just trying to gauge the feelings of my fellow visitors of this website.

Hit green if you would be excited if the next episode ends with Patrick walking into an RJ murder scene and finding a bloody smiley face.

Hit red if you would not like this because you feel its lazy with it being so similar to T-Carter.  Any other reason you wouldn't like it hit red and comment

Thanks!

So, no one sees that McAllister fires the bomb, because Patrick would remember that, but someone screamed "No, please don't". That doesnt add up, and it irks me because that was 2 episodes ago when they had already decided on who RJ is, but still left parts that made no sense...

Hello everyone,

I think we are all overreacting about the last episode. I still believe that Haffner would have been the best Red John (his profile fitted more and he could have faked his own death the same way Mcallister did). Nevertheless, when someone like Red John is exposed and it is seen that he doesn't have wings and horns its always dissapointing. Think about that for a second. Did Bruno Heller ever let us down? The first seven episodes were really great and they were building up to a climax. I am sure there will be a logical explanation for everything, maybe in the upcoming episodes/maybe in a blog from Heller.

Once upon a time there was a television series called ''Traveler''. It got canceled after seven episodes, but left fans like me with a lot of questions. The master mind behind the television series wrote the entire story on a blog at the internet, as a thank you for the fans. Considering that the Mentalist has been with us ten times as long as that series has, I am sure everything is going to be alright.

Maybe Jane gets a job offer in the next episode because Red John is still alive? Who knows where this is going... If you have been a fan of The Mentalist, you should give Bruno the benefit of the doubt.

Also, a lot of clues point to McAllister, and he makes a decent Red John as well. He was my number 2 option. As a local sherrif, no one thought he was powerful enough (including me). Turns out he was the mastermind behind the Blake Association. Also, the tattoo is to make him fit in with the others. I thought Red John would hate the idea of sharing something with someone, but I was completely wrong about that. It was a brilliant move that only Red John can pull off.

Remember the blind lady? She said Red John had strong rough hands (look at the Sherrif his hands), and he smelled like pine in the forest. It was given that the Sherrif likes to hunt, and when he saved Jane on the roof it turned out he was afraid of animals/creatures with wings. A form of phobia.
Furthermore, McAllister appeared in the second episode of the first season. Even though his character was underdeveloped, it is fair from that point of view. Xander is a really great actor as well, and he made the entire Red John episode more acceptable for me.

I am not saying I am very enthusiastic about the Red John episode, but I am not dissapointed with McAllister as Red John. Lets hope for the best and lets see whether or not we get our answers.
