I think its Ray Haffner is RJ, Firstly Styles is to involved to bed RJ, he and Jane have a specal relationship and i'd want RJ to be a shock to the audience.  Bertram may be involved but i dont think he has the intelligence to fit the persona. Brett Partdridge again is a good dummy for the audience, hes perfect for the suspect, voice, heigh and age. i think he's a helper to RJ but no more. Ray has been involved from the beginning but we havent seen alot of him, hes part of the FBI team, one of which was an accomplice to RJ (Van pelt BF). Im sure alot that watch him ge a weird vibe off him. There's a scene where he tries to lure Lisbon onto his new project, she seems to be onto him and i think she may be the one to get him.

Interesting thing about the name Ray...it only takes one letter change to make it Roy.

I've got to go with Lisbon's gut, and suspect Haffner. The guy rubs me the wrong way. We know he matches the physical description, he's the correct age, and he was at the barn when the murders happened. He's a member of visualize (So Brett Stiles would know him well, plus we know that Stiles knows who RJ is).  

Also it would be ironic (and typical of this show) if it was Lisbon, not Jane, who figured out who RJ was. PJ solves Lisbon's cases. maybe Lisbon has solved Jane's?

According to the description given by rosalind harker,(just under 6 ft, average build, short straight hair) we can probably rule out walter mashburn, kristina frye (atho I do think she is BSing). Also, I think Brett Patridge and CBI Ron do not have the personality/attitude to be red john. We mgiht also rule out Oscar Ardilles for being too short but I am not sure about his exact height.

Hence my top suspects are Ray Haffer, Bob Kirkland (altho he might be too obvious) or someone from jane's past life like a twin brother (season 5 finale will feature people from jane's past so I think the writers of the show may be trying to create a connection here)

I'm not quite sure which one of these is Red John but if I had to guess I would say that he is either Ray Haffner or Ellis Mars. I know for a fact that Brett Stiles and Patrick Jane are not Red John. If it was Jane then everything that has happened wouldn't make sence at all and Brett Stiles was cleared of any suspicion in the episode The Red Barn. Ray Haffner would also make sence because he clearly has feelings for Lisbon which would explain why Red John hasn't even attempted to hurt her at least once. 

Because Lisbon thinks that he is Red John.
