Episode 5 was pathetic. It's literally an embarrassment to the entire series. This show isn't worth 45 minutes of air time anymore, just cancel it now...

Not a theory, just an observation. The opening scenes of both episodes have now prominently featured the color red. I'm hesitant to think anything of it at this point because of how brutal the last season has been and the quality of the writing dropping so drastically.

However, the old Mentalist fan in me would be hopeful about this, especially for a show which is ostensibly heavy on color symbolism (E.g. every episode title). One episode is hardly noteworthy, two episodes is a coincidence, but three would be a pattern. I'll be keeping a close eye out for the opening scene of episode three to see if it happens again.

You ever wonder why they used Simon Baker to voice Red John in 6x01 and Xander Berekely in 6x08. You'd think that if he really was gonna be Red John, then why the FUCK would you not have him voice Red John in the season 6 premiere. If they did, I may have appreciated the reveal more. Cuz the 4x24 and 6x01 Red John voice ARE EXACTLY THE SAME.

Do any of you guys sometimes wish you could just erase part of your memory, just so you could watch the show again?

Season 7 episode 2 was great.
Action packed with a dash of funny like this show does best.
I like the whole cast now that Ficshers gone.
Abbott is great Cho is Cho and Wiley cracks me up.
Yea its not dark and Red John is done but i dont care.
I cant bash a show i enjoy watching.
Id rather have Jane and Lisbon be together than another year of awkward arguments apart.
Shows evolve things change.

I know people are still pissed about the Macalister stuff and rightfully so.
But lets stop bashing one of our favorite shows for something in the past.
We have a season 7 and thats better than the show gone forever.
If you would rather it be cancelled than you're not a fan.

The show evolved. The cases are bigger their technology is better and the stakes are higher.
I could watch normal episodes with Jane doing his thing all day.
But this season will have a villian. And Styles will come back. Visualize will finally meet our eyes.
