I believe it's Bertram but there is one big thing that doesn't add up.

Stiles knows RJ and there is the Rj connection to the Visualize barn but at no point have we ever seen any kind of connection between Bertram and Visualize. It would seem PJ could find a connection like that in Bertram's past if that was the case.

According to the TvGuide's article Red John is definitely Gale Bertram.

His look like and voice means nothing, especially by a blind woman.

I think it's gale Bertram because when Jane found out the 3 suspects with the tattoo which was Bertram, Mcallister, and smith one of them is most likely red john. The second episode of season 6 those three were having a meeting. Then when Jane tells them that his mentors head was cut off and put in an oven. Then Jane leaves and reede smith says to Bertram "your the one in charge" . I believe Bertram is red john.

You are thinking too much. With the spoilers that came out it's quite easy to figure it out. Gale Bertram is Red John, you just have to ignore the descriptions of Red John i guess.

When he appeared in season 3 Jane didn't like him, you have the fact that Red John is a showman, and Bertram first appearance was surrounded by cameras, making a speech. You have also the mall scene, which they can throw in as a flashback. Bruno said that we were going to see Red John's face, everyone thought it was Timothy Carter, but in fact it was Bertram. In 6x02 we see Bertram walking like he was limping and we know Red John walks this way, and Patrick staring at his walk. I really think it's him

If I were Patrick Jane, I would have easily found out who RJ was. Simple, gather all the 5 suspects at his home. Give them coffee or beer or anything to drink with sleeping pill spiked in them. Once all of them fall asleep, check the ones with tattoo and bring Rosalind Harker to identify who Roy is among them. That would solve it. Simple. Bruno Heller does not know how to write stories. Poor him.

Not so much clues, but since Bruno likes numbers and clues.  I took the liberty to assigning numeric values to names.

Now taking the alphabet and give A a value of 6, B 12, C18, etc. (Each letter value increases by 6 until you get to Z which has a value of 156.

Now this is off the wall, but wait...

Everyone says 666 & Red John have a lot in common.  So lets look at the number list I have above.

Mark of Beast = 666
Other Gods = 666
 A End of Times = 666
A President = 666

Lucifer = 444 so take 444/666 you get .666
Red John = 444
Jesus=444 (who does Lucifer try to imitate?)

Grace Van Pelt = 744 (don't know if this is anything or not)
Jay "Red" Roth = 744

Gale Bertram = 612 (what is is middle name?) Gale I. Bertram = 666
Ray Haffner = 612

However if you put first Initial as in G. "Red" Bertram you get 666

I don't think Heller actually went this far in advance to put this type of clue, but you never know.

However when you look that the not for Patrick that says "Dinner is in the oven." you will notice that each of the letter "E" is written differently.

Now go back and look at Bertram's hand writing and notice he has a tendancy to change his letter "E" from time to time.

Now for the final numbers game:

If you put Gale Bertram is Red John you get a value of 1224 since he is two people if you divide by two you get 612!
