Bits and pieces from other theories, promos, still pics, etc. May be way off. Still can't wait to see...
First: I don’t believe Red John is Gale Bertram. Patrick would not tell the world who he
was. He is sending them on a wild goose
chase so he can have Red John find him.
Second: I don’t believe Bob Kirkland
ever died. I think it was his brother, don’t
know how, but Bob is still investigating.
Third: I don’t think McAllister is
dead. I think that is who meets Patrick
at the cemetery and is whom Patrick chases.
It looks like him from the promo stills.
I think Patrick will chase McAllister, and before or after I don’t know
meet him in the Church. At first
McAllister is pretending to be Red John.
Patrick will shoot him; McAllister will tells Patrick he is NOT Red
John. McAllister is the one asking for
mercy in the promo. Patrick tells him he’s
done and wants to be left alone.
McAllister tells him Bertram wants to meet Patrick in the park with no
one around.
The FBI agents try to stop the meeting, but the CBI agents Cho, Van Pelt,
Rigsby, and Lisbon run interference for Patrick. Patrick takes Teresa's gun as a prop (from the
promo). At some point he meets with Bertram
and says he's done. Patrick gives
Bertram the gun and tells him to leave him alone or kill him because he's tired
of this game, the Patrick gets up and walks away.
That is when Brett Partridge appears and says "Hi."
Partridge and Jane talk a bit. Partridge aka Red John reaches out to him and
tells him how we was a step ahead all along.
We find out Teresa was bugged and that's why he didn’t kill her. Red John used surveillance and disciple accomplices
to help him stay a step ahead of Jane. We also find out that Haffner what the biggest
Red John disciple, and Bret Stiles supplied him with all the followers he
needed.
Patrick then looks at the floor and laughs. Patrick Jane, explains the
details of his plan. Patrick had figured
out Red John was Brett Partridge by using Lorelei Martins & Rosalind
Harker.
Patrick figured out Lisbon was bugged, and gave her the list, which Patrick
thought were disciples of Red John, but explains how he was wrong to think
that.
Kirkland, Bertram, McAllister, and Smith were all trying to catch him, they
were in Tyger Tyger as spies (good or bad), with the exception of Kirkland.
When Patrick blew
up his house, they all became part of Patrick's double con on Red John.
There will be flashbacks to what happened in Patrick's house.
Once Patrick found out that Lisbon was bugged (around the middle of Season
5) Patrick gave Lisbon only what he wanted Red John to know.
At Patrick's house
the gunshot and explosion was to misinform Red John because Lisbon's phone is
outside in Patrick's car. In the
explosion no one dies. Haffner and
Stiles were revealed to be alive and in the custody of Bob Kirkland.
Patrick's
biggest kick in the teeth to Red John is that the flash drive left by Bertram
was decrypted and contained the names of every person in the Blake Association.
At this point Red John begins to run and Patrick chases after him. When Patrick
corners Red John; Red John asks Patrick if he remembers him, and Patrick answers
yes.
There's a flashback to the carnival, and at the exact same time Patrick
tackles him. As the flashback finishes, the boy with the pigeons fades, Red
John's facial similarities are highlighted. Patrick is strangling him, and you
can see he is relishing the moment.
Later the FBI breaks into Patrick's attic and arrest him. While he's being
transported, an agent says Bob Kirkland sends his regards, and Patrick is released.
That is why Patrick is on the run. He was released and still wanted for killing Red John. Que next weeks "My Blue Heaven".
