Brett Partridges first words on screen: Red John enters here.
Really?
You have someone, who would have been the perfect Red John and then you kill him off with no reason. Partridge would be the perfect Red John. It would have been great, if he was revealed as RJ in 6x8, followed by an Mind Game betweetn him and PJ, like between Sherlock and Moiarty.
Season 7 will be either the worst, with Love and happy live nonsens or maybe they will bring back some tention.
Still hoping for the Real Red John Reveal,

Question to those who been around this forum from before the Season 6 episode 8 aired:
Was McAllister back then also positioned # 2 on the list of suspects or there was a surge of votes for him after the reveal?
Right now, as it stands Partridge has 1894 suspicions and McAllister has 1623.
While watching the Mentalist and following the clues they led me to believe that Partridge was Red John. Naturally, I tried to tie the subsequent hints to him. I had my own theory on everything I could think of, to explain my instincts. Even on the list of 7, which posed more of the question why was it given to Jane at the time, rather than how did Red John know the list before Jane did.
The only thing I could never explain was how did Kristina Frye got zombiefied?
Any theories on that?
Brett Styles, Ray Haffner, Bret Partridge and Lorelei Martins will return in Season 7. I believe that is why the show was renewed (also because Simon Baker has a contract until season 7) and everything will be explained, I see no other reason why we only have 13 episodes. Everything comes to an end.
Brett Styles: First Red John (Until Elliston Farm) and mentor of the actual Red John.
Ray Haffner: Roy Tagliaferro
Brett Partdrige: Actual Red John
Lorelei Martins: She told the list of the suspects to Jane. (As the Stoopkid has said).
If you watch Fire and Brimstone, the very last shot you see in the house, BEFORE the explosion is Jane facing the 3 suspects with the tattoo, as they're lining up against the wall.
Someone shouts "No don't!"
And I think I know who. I found an old picture, which is a shot of Jane's house taken after the footage inside the house cuts off. You can tell this is later than the footage, because in the episode, McAllister is still doing up his buttons again at the wall. But in this picture his buttons are now done and his hands are up.

I can only guess Jane turns round to point the gun at Haffner, and Haffner shouts "No don't!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In episode 6, Jane says Red John would never not admit to being Red John. In Jane's house, McAllister says "You got it wrong. I'm not Red John".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For what it's worth, in all of season 6, Jane's not said he killed McAllister. Even Fischer admitted in the trial that Jane never specifically said he killed him. She said it was implied.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't write an episode called "Red John" and not have him in it. Jane compares pigeons to tiny dinosaurs at the start of the episode. The very last shot of the episode, "Red John" is standing at a dinosaur slide with his hands behind his back. The music is creepy. That's cryptic enough so that 99.9999% of the audience will miss it, but the observant fan will spot it.
Where others see failure I see opportunity.
From here Season 7 can go in 2 directions.
Bruno is still a Genius.
Please allow me to elaborate.
Route 1:(The preferable...)
Red J. returns. Of course, I'm hoping it's Partridge. I could list the reasons why him, but many of you covered that ground before me perfectly, it would be redundant. Suffice to say, that he is still doing what he does best, but perhaps with different trademarks. After setting up McAllister, who owed him a lot, ever since Red J pulled him out of the explosion site, he is still active and much wiser. So the question is why would he come out of hiding now? After all this time? The answer is simple; Jane has a new love interest in his life, he cares about. Sure, Lisbon has to die, but Hey! It would be a small price to pay for good drama, right?
or...
Route 2 (but I'll settle for this one too)
They continue with Jisbon hilarity. I mean come on... Have you seen that scene in the plane where Jane was emotional looking all banal? Because, I sure did. LMAO too, mind you. It was like watching a deleted scene from the... from... well... AIRPLANE! (1980). Of course the humor didn't stop there. No one ever tried to kiss a woman over the table... for good reason. It's not romantic. However, Bruno just wanted us to laugh. And laugh we did. So much that I'm hoping Farrelly Brothers will jump in on for the crossover with their Dumb and Dumber franchise. And if you think that wasn't funny enough, then let's just wrap the whole thing up with a quote from the guy behind the glass, (who stole the scene, BTW):
"Hey! Quit That!"
You see? It's a win-win.
