My theroy is that he could possibly be PJ brother who had plastic surgery, where no one cam reconize him as you seem him question multiple times in his scenes. I remember a scene in which Kirkland and Lisbon are having coffee and she asked where he grew up with him answering "we moved around a lot for dads work, then it was mom I like to say I grew up in America. " this strikes a cord with me cause it resembles PJ past so I feel that theyAre somehow connected, and it's too fool Lisbon which might be a red John accomplice. Just my opinion big fan of show!
