Who is Red John?

Theories of Soobahk40050 (6)

After watching last nights episode, I still found myself wishing for Red John to return. I get that he is not coming back and that the show is going a different direction, and I don't want to just flame it.

That being said, I came up with a theory I haven't seen anywhere else and thought I would post it just because:

Michelle Vega is actually Miranda Martins, who Red John didn't actually kill. She looks similar enough and has at least some character development in the lie she told to go with Cho.

I highly doubt that this theory is accurate but if I had to pick a way for the show to reintroduce the Red John/Blake Associate/Visualize arc, this would be a fascinating way to do it.

Thanks!

While I have been disappointed with the show post-Red John, its not because McAllister was Red John. If we had gotten more answers I would be fine with it. I'm also a fan of strong villains but the show was clear they weren't going that direction.

As to the last episode being called "Red..." something, I think more likely the hidden title is "White." As in "White Wedding" between Jane and Lisbon. If by some chance the show does get renewed (someone can correct me if it has been officially cancelled), they have a lot of paths to follow after that.

I really hope its not the Kirkland-twins theories I have seen, however, I just watched "The Red Ponies" from season 3, where the horses get switched.

Also, O'Laughlin takes Van Pelt on a date to Napa.

What time do episodes get posted to CBS.com? I won't be able to watch live! Thanks!

I believe that the show is gearing up towards a reveal of Bertram. However, based on other clues, I think some other ideas work better:

McAllister: born in 62-3, would make him 25-6 in 88, i.e first killing when he was an adult. He also would easily smell like pine, per Rosalind. Boots may be a hint.

Haffner: Better association with Visualize, and being born in 1967, he would be 21 in 88, so maybe the barn killings were a rite of passage.

I think at this point we have to assume "he is mar," is he is marked. With the PJ and RJ relationship innuendo's I have no problem thinking that while not sexual, perhaps RJ does take off his clothes to kill.

Bertram does fit in with "Cold" as per the Wikia explanation, but I think there is a better solution there. I hope we get some flashback episodes to explain it all.

Robert Kirkland seems like an interesting choice right now. He was there in the flashback episode and after "If it bleeds it leads" seems even more mysterious. If the show does not get renewed I'd say its him and if it does get renewed he is a "friend" of Red John.
