Who is Red John?

Theories of Libertyman (7)

"He thought the sheriff persona was the perfect mislead - for a sociopath to adopt that kind of career just seemed so extra creepy. But, still, why me?"

Xander Berkeley, who plays McAllister and Red John, in an interview made 10 hours ago.

That's the problem, right there.

HOW THE HELL DID MCALLISTER KNOW THE NAMES BEFORE JANE?

"I'm a real psychic..."

Don't get caught with loose ends you can't tie up. I'm tried.

It was a pretty good episode, but not a fair ending to the Red John-saga. Revealing in the promo that it is McAllister and than explaining how he got the names with "I'm a real psychic" doesn't cut it. It doesn't even scratch it a bit. I mean, come on! As a writer you should never get stuck with loose ends that you can't tie up, like the names, just because it's cool. I'm an author myself and just that part is bad writing.

How did he get the names?

What does "He is mar" mean?

What did he do to Christina Frye?

Why isn't Rosalinds description correct and why were there NO flashbacks of McAllister committing any murders?

GAHHHH.

We didn't get to see any flashbacks or anything like it, so I really hope for it on sunday. Heller owes it to us. This episode was rushed, although the concept itself was really cool, such as the trick with the bird and the twist with Bertram. It seems alot like the ending of Mass Effect 3. It was horrible at first, then the writes corrected it. I think many writers rush into writing endings.

It's kinda anti-climatic even if Berkeley is an awesome actor. The leak is also just terrible from CBS. Shame on them.

The promo for 1x08 is really clear; it's McAllister. And Xander Berkely is an AWESOME actor, so this coming episode is gonna be great.

However, I wonder if we are gonna find out how RJ know the names before PJ did. It's been a really large secret, even larger than RJ himself.

Look there! It's a spoiler from The Great Red Dragon. I think we can be pretty sure Reede Smith is not Red John, because of this and of serveral other reasons.

Cheers.

If I have to pick between Bertram and McAllister I pick Bertram, he had the most charactar development and Jane knew him, they hadn't just met in a one-time-encounter.

Brett Partridge is dead. That's a really twisted turn of events. However, Bertram stated something early in the episode, The Desert Rose. He said that "I am many things to many people" and pointed out that he sometimes was calculting and he had a "duplicity".

He is mar...? Is that familiar? He is many?

However, saying that he is many different things and saying that he has duplicity is at least something.

In the end, when Partridge was lying on the floor dying, didn't it sound like he said Kirkland? Or something with a K?

Well, I can't really take that for real proof. But it's something.

My money is on Bertram, Kirkland or Haffner. But it would't suprise me if Heller did another crazy twist.

Cheers.
