Who is Red John?

Theories of JashmeSukoane (4)

Since TM is a soapbox for middle aged and older ladies, where cases are not relevant, and all they're aiming for is the so called Jisbon thing, it's fair to say to that segment of viewers that they will have a pyrrhic victory. RJ's demise took 8 episodes to be the piece of shite with holes and unresolved crap everywhere. I hope PJ & TL's moment will last some seconds of that episode and will be nothing but romantic bad written turd that is not even gonna make 'em wet. Screw 'em all too for ruining this show along with Heller and company.

Don't give a shite bout who Red John was since they came out with that seven boring uninspiring farts suspects ... well,  about the so called "leaked" episode ... it's so full of crap scenes and bad takes that I'd like to think it's just made up of that ... screwed up takes (like a "behind the scenes" complete bonus episode without laughter)

1) when Abbot and Lisbon are all alone, he speaks about a
murder, it has to be known by then (cause it happened an hour before the dialogue) that there's a witness and that the shooter is not Bertram.
2) when Jane describes to R.J. how he managed to escape the bombing scene there's another
screw up ... a name completely forgotten, but hey he was one of the two on episode 7 : "big fat" Reede Smith
3) at least the ending credits are OK (even without music)  but
in the end it says  ©2012
... what the heck

That line Lisbon said on episode 1 still haunts me : "at least we could keep an eye on Bertram and the other seven suspects" ... the season of mistakes ... well done ... it all ends as it begun

They blew away the best character created ... has a "touch & go" with Lisbon and gets out of the picture for 3 seasons. Sent Jane a "nice gift" for his breakdown : Lorelei (nice mistress indeed). Asks for Lisbon's head as if saying "we're even dude, knew you wouldn't gimme her head and I didn't want hers" (Lorelei said it anyways) ... charismatic, billionaire, womanizer, good at building bombs, he was at a reformatory (Bret Stiles decided to help this ambitious lad like he so proudly announced did with the ecuatorian child) ... issues with his mother ... was on Jane's list ... but there's this thing that bothers me : why did Lisbon said there were 8 suspects on this season's first episode and Jane didn't even corrects her ... an spoiler says thay she's gonna search for the worst possible person for some help or whatever ... if that's true an ex-one night stand that suddenly reappears as another spoiler is saying would make it great ... Mashburn being Red John ... the reason Jane and Lisbon's relation straints and ends up pretty bad after the hunt is over ... to hell with Red John

-  Why did Teresa Lisbon said on S 06 E 01 "Desert Rose"  :
"We could at least keep Bertram and the other seven suspects under   surveillance" ?
- Did Bruno Heller (who wrote the episode) and the whole "Mentalist" crew including actors screwed it all up in a collective amnesia attack ?
- Maybe Lisbon's subconscious was talking out loud ?
- Maybe Jane's subconscious was on the same level so he didn't need to correct her ... or his "mental palace" was really shutdown ?. Don't think so.
- I'd assume there's another suspect being hidden. A real twist & turn (as Ken Woodruff has just said on an interview : " ... just given the nature of our show and how we twist things around, and
Red John as a character, how sort of capable and deceitful he's been
able to be all these years. Don't forget, Jane's been in the place where
he's been 100 percent positive of Red John before and he was wrong. So I
wouldn't underestimate Red John ... )
- Then if there's a real hidden suspect, my choice has to be Walter Mashburn (cause the other seven are as Gary Clarke had said before "boring uninspiring farts")
- This would mean that both slept and had sex with monsters. Something
that will affect deeply whatever relation they have after Red John is
revealed (platonic love, 'siblings love' or simply love). So there's one reason there's a 2 years jump ( if its 2 years ... it's difficult to believe what the producers and writers are saying)
