For people saying "Would RJ blow up a house he was in? NO!". Obvioulsy at least 3 to 4 people are going to survive that blast so obviously it's a focused explosion or something of that nature which pretty much GUARANTEES that RJ is in the house. Otherwise why not make sure of the job and use an explosive that will make absolute sure to kill EVERYBODY?
