ARGUMENTATION

6 seasons of restless Investigation about the most awaited serial killer Red John is not expected to be disappointing. Not sure of Heller's intention in telling that the list is legit and Red John is in it. Only thing which I take for guaranteed is Patrick Jane is not Red John.

Few interesting points noted:

1. When Lisbon gets a Tip in 6x01, only Pattridge is located on GPS bug, no other Red John suspect.

Possibilities from this point are

    i. Brett could be RJ (Other six suspects were not located in that location). (OR)

ii. Van Pelt could be RJ or accomplice and might have played some part through GPS bug. She     would have or not have planted it on RJ if she knows him. Yeah... Difficult hunch I know :).  Nevertheless there is something fishy about her (She is a Techie, dark past, scene with Bret Stiles etc.,). (OR)

iii. Lisbon could be RJ. Just writing down this coz its a possibility from above scenario. No strong  evidence on this. But, could give a Thwack to Audience if it is the case. World will be disappointed  for Jane.

2. Bob Kirkland asks many of the Red John accomplices the same question... "Do u recognize me?" So, his brother Michael Kirkland is definitely a Red John accomplice well known to other RJ associates. I dont think Bob thinks his brother is RJ as he tortured victims to know who red John is. In this case, when Heller says RJ is in the list it could be Kirkland or his twin brother (One died and One RJ). So, even if one dies, list still have Red John in it as they are twins. Messy!!! but I think I have a point here.

3. RJ among Haffner, Bertram, Reede, McCallister or Bret Stiles will be huge disappointment unless there are some unexpected twists and wonderful reasoning in the coming episodes.

One thing I am not sure about Van Pelt is she killing O' Laughlin if she is RJ or accomplice. She should have helped him instead. Thoughts.
