I think Brett Partridge is Red John because always at the Red John Murders and he always knows what Red John did and how he did it. In Season 3 episode 23 to 24 how Patrick Jane shot how they think is Red John he is i think a puppert of Red John so Patrick Jane comes after Red John  and nobody else.
