In my opinion Red John didn't kill Lisbon because he loves her, so does Ray. Furthermore Red John is a Member of Visualize, Ray too. Red John worked on the Allistor Farm, Ray too. Sophie Miller's notes says Red John is a good whistle blower, so does Ray.
