I believe Red John is Bob Kirkland just for the reason he invaded Jane's "office" and took pictures of all of his work. He was smart enough to copy exactly what Jane had in there. And if he could do that he also could have thought of the list that Jane has. Only Bob could have such information, same as Jane. Jane also knows his "office" was broke in and someone his information because of the bit of the toothpick he left on his door, let's see what happens from now on. And remember that Bob always has a suspicious behavior and always wants to be informed of news on Red John's case.
