I was never a big believer in this theory but seeing how things have played out, it looks like our last hope.
Jane is Red John. His relationship with Lisbon will end by her discovering this. If the show can get dark again, this is how you do it.
Seeing how easily Jane made that letter and spawned a case and conned everyone makes me believe how good he really is.
This whole Macalister Rj/BA thing could be a sham. Yea they were all guilty in their own ways but the way Jane cried after killing Macalister makes me wonder.
Ill never buy Macalister a sheriff, a serial killer, and the leader of the BA and control over thousands of people, would care so much about Patrick Jane.
I mean Red Johns whole serial killer career before Jane was a typical serial killer beginning.
BUT after he killed Janes family, Red John literally only acted when Jane was involved in some way. Macalister had a lot on his plate and i doubt he would base his whole serial killer life on Patrick Jane.
Think back of all the things Rj did season 1-5 and of course 6.
Rj only does stuff with Jane involved.
His daughter saying "does anyone know who you are " will always haunt me.
A post earlier talked about why the Rj Story line failed and i agree. Its all politics. Freye, Lorelie, Styles, etc were RJ people for story lines. Season 1 Heller had to keep rj identity a mystery bc what if all the characters in the rj story get a different job? The show for some reason couldn't lock down all these characters so the Rj story had to evolve. Im sure if Freye signed a deal the story would went a different way but things change in business.
Politics ruin most things.
Ps: possible jane cons.
There are always so many holes in cases. Haibach for instance is a great example. He hardly knew 85 percent of that Cbi hitlist. He was not a killer and doesnt seem like he would stab Ardilles like that. Or have the means to spy and bug all those people. I always thought haibach decided to take Grace AFTER he was brought in for questioning. He didnt hire an armed hitman to Gvps and Rigsbys house, no he wanted to kidnap her to trap Lisbon and Jane.
So that brings me to Jane. Lets say he is crazy and likes to make things up. Jane makes the hitlist. Kills Ardilles and La Roche bc of crazy Jane reasons. Which he then sways the team into thinking Haibach did it without actually saying it. Maybe Jane knew Haibach would snap and Kidnap Gvp or maybe Jane hypnotized him, he is crazy remember. I got the impression that hired gun was trying to miss. Now i know i am not alone with this thought so its at least plausible to think about. A wide open shot on a man holding a baby and he hits the baby bag. Nice shot ace! Jane could of set this up to bring Gvp and Rigsby to Texas.
Haha this is just a fantasy but the Haibach saga did not add up at all. The man wantes revenge on Lisbon and her team. Not a bunch of nobodies from Cbi and La Roche plus Ardilles? Wtf did La Roche do?
