Be aware that you may likely have seen the alternate version of the
Red John episode. A contact of mine in the industry had told me of two
versions of the episode. They are not fully different episodes, they
only have different men revealed as Red John and the final showdown as
well. About 8 minutes of alternate footage, he said. This is not
unusual, networks have done this before with episodes that have a great
buzz.

I was not told who either men where in each version and would very much like it if you could send me the link you have.
