After reading all of these comments I'm convinced the "leak" is a spoof.

Here's what I think is gonna happen...McA is alive but is not Red John. The dialogue between Jane and McA in "Fire and Brimstone" leads me to believe they are somehow working together.

Remember Jane asking, "will you help me catch a killer?" and the weird look McA gave PJ in the house? I think that the sheriff will die helping Jane catch RJ.

And if the episode is a spoof, the "list" is too. Red John is probably Walter Mashburn and what an ending that would be.
