ARGUMENTATION

I don't really understand why you all think that the episode sucks.

Although McAllister wasn't my favorite Red John when this season started, this season has clearly been built to fit McAllister for Red John. I thought this entire season was pretty bad, mainly because it lacks Patrick's brilliance. But this episode itself wasn't bad, and it fits perfectly to the story. I agree that there are still A LOT of questions that must be answered, and I really hope they will be. I also agree that several dialogs were pretty cheesy and "funny", but not enough to prove the episode being fake. You might think that it still lacks Patrick's brilliance, but it doesn't. He knew who Red John was AT LEAST in the previous episode (as I and many others "knew").

A lot of people seems to believe that this release was fake, which is not impossible, although unlikely.
If we assume that Red John is someone on the list (which most people assumes), this ending is clearly better than either Bertram, Smith, Haffner or Stiles being Red John. So, that leaves the only possibly better ending with Partridge as Red John, which I still might have preferred. But anyways, I'm not upset with this ending either, not yet anyways, because I still think that everything will be explained.

For those of you who still hope that Partridge is more involved than it seems, I'll just say that it's possible that it was him in the last scene of the episode (at least looked that way in the crappy webrip I watched). It's a reach, and it's more likely just a tease, but still.

I can only advice you to watch the episode again, because it's really not THAT bad.
