Ok the biggest clue that the list is a ploy is a quote by jane. Lisbon asks him why he faked the kirkland list and he says along the lines of " i don't want to endanger anyone who knows the list by letting people know the true one . I shouldn't have even told u". No way patrick would tell lisbon anyone on the list or that he even had a list ! He is up to something . Jane knew lisbon was bugged .
