So, no more guessing. Since the writers have proven they will no bring dead back to life, now more than ever I am 100% convinced who Red John is.
First I must admit my first theory had a mixed result where I thought Stiles was involved (as Red John "the mind") Now I am sure he was involved through Visualize, the same way Smith was involved through the tyger-tyger reach out call (for FBI clearance at CBI headquarters)
Who is Red John? Kirkland´s description of their childhood is a pretty damn good start for me. Mom suicides with a razor blade. Dad a saddistic drunk who beat the crap out of them. Michael had a troubled childhood, became an alcoholic as his father, until he met someone, more than a man, a saviour. Someone who only wanted simple things in return, devotion and sacrifice. (Robert Kirkland tells Patrick Red John is that someone. This tipped me off to believe Stiles was Red John "the mind" on my theory 9511) What it does happen is that Michael does meet Stiles and start working at the visualize farm. He learns the Visualize ways to manipulate others souls. Red John is born, his first victim Michael Kirkland. So his body was never found. Red John does his first jobs at the barn and prints his signature for the first time. Then he starts with his seral killings until one day Patrick Jane comes to a TV show and describes him as an ugly tormented little man, a lonely soul, sad very sad. In return Red John kills his wife and daughter. So the nemesis relation starts right after Patrick is released from the insane asylum, where he starts digging for Red John. First he reaches Sac PD where detective Elliot tells him Agent Lisbon from CBI has taken over the investigation. By now Robert Kirkland is already at Homeland. Here is were Red John´s master mind games starts. He starts gathering information about him, using every possible mean. First he uses his brothers Homeland access. At the same time Red John figures out about the blake organization and infiltrates himself. By now he gathers information from Visualize, Homeland and Law Enforcement agencies through the tyger-tyger call. Red John´s master mind game uses all of them to be always ahead of Patrick, playing him, playing with him, he is always ahead. Even now, where we all have been fooled played believing each of those 7 seven suspects is Red John. While he is watching, smiling at us. =)
