One problem I've always had with the Partridge theory is that in the copycat murder case that Partridge is working he claims it to be RJ. We know RJ doesn't like to be slandered and hear it straight from his own mouth that he hates poor imitations of his work, yet as Partridge he is giving credit to the copycat killers as being RJ? It just goes completely against RJ's character to do that for any reason. I understand the "throwing Jane off" argument as the counter to that but I don't see that as a valid one considering it isn't necessary for him to do that to throw PJ off.
