How would you feel like if the show continues with the following plot after RJ gets killed?

Jane runs to South America after killing Red John and FBI (using Cho) brings the team back together after 2 years to form up a special unit to look after serial killer cases only. The biggest element missing in this scenario is Jane himself. And FBI offers a deal. If Jane accepts to take the job (for a specific timeline like 10 years or lifetime, whatever), he can come back to the states and be free of charges. This way, they all together start dealing with serial killers only. And writers can generate a plot where there's actually many serial killers and one big villain among them even much more dangerous and way too smarter than Red John. Do you think they can keep the attention with anything like this?
