Remember when we were so excited for a new mentalist and they showed us a re-run??
I remember bc i was pissed !!! But , now i see why bruno showed that exact episode.

It was called blood feud, it was about rigsbys dad getting shot in CARSON SPRINGS.
Now if you watch "red johns rules" we learn that janes hometown was indeed CARSON SPRINGS!!!
Crazy right ?
I know it doesn't prove Rigsby is from there just because his dad is but come on...thats a clue to me .

Also, where is Janes dad? Ive heard he is a manipulative "wicked" man but where is he?

The Final "Mentaltwist"

Maybe I'm just feining for the mentalist to come back but i think i understand this season in terms of how heller is handling it and where it is going. Here it goes.

I initially never believed what heller said about this season. I thought it was weird he made comments about the show giving away clues when he didn't have to. Let alone releasing info weekly. Weird right ? Who does that? Ive watched a lotta shows end and its never been like this.
But then i started reading in-between his lines.
He said and im paraphrasing "we did not want to RUSH anything we could of been cancelled and wanted to do it on our terms without being rushed".
Now that statement is double speak. It is double speak because they were about to be cancelled but they also DID rush it . Or so we thought.

Saying this season was the end of red john creates crazy internet and media buzz.
Its all about buzz these days in the media/tv world.
Ratings are iffy to calculate with the advent of dvr and youtube etc.
Then heller makes comments weekly as well as the tv guide article etc which made even more buzz and publicity and talk show appearances.

Then the season unfolds and its just jane going down the list. The first 8 episodes were ALL about the list.
The list was the key to the show's buzz. It showed fans and SOON TO BE FANS that red john was finally in janes reach. It was the first time there was a red john name by name countdown until the end. It was the light at the end of the tunnel, or the dragons finally coming in "game of thrones".
**But it was all a trick. The list was a trick in the actual show as well as real life or at least hollywood.
They were in danger of being cancelled and did not want to rush it so they faked the whole thing!
Tweets, mentions, likes, views , message boards, and internet chatter about the mentalist was rising during the list countdown, increasing all the way till the reveal episode. THIS IS WHY THE SHOW WASNT CANCELLED.
Now we have a whole other half of a season after christmas break where red john will be revealed on Bruno's terms like he said he was gonna do.

He said "we did not want to rush it".
If bruno actually took his time and not faked the reveal then the mentalist would of been cancelled after episode 10. There would of been no january 5th episode ! I would have cried haha. Im serious.

**The list is also a lie in the show as well. Its a big LoreLIE.
Jane and Lorelie made the tape together. Thats why lorelie doesn't mention her trying to kill red john in the tape. I mean that would of been the elephant in the room.
She says red john is mad at her and that she is being killed for the handshake remark.
Lisbon knows about the handshake remark so thats what they used for the tape to show only her. Destroying it afterwards ;)
Jane never gives lisbon red john info normally but he decided to show her the tape.
He knew she would tell van pelt and then vp would tell rigsby and so on. That was the whole point.
Jane even said to lisbon on how red john guessed "its a trick".

I don't have all the answers but what we do know is the result of jane and Lorelie's trick. He name is lore a lie!!

1. The team was told
2. gps trackers
3. partridge's death/ Lisbon's marking. (Heller said this was a huge clue and we still don't know why he was killed and his tattoo or non tattoo was wiped off).
4. janes house and whatever the hell happened there .
5. Church/Mexico
---Jane gained a giant advantage over the real red john during this whole tale of deceit and death.
I have no idea what that advantage is however.
Red john now thinks jane believes he is dead maybe? But there must be more.
Cbi being shut down and jane getting some "space" ? Maybe more so.
I wonder if janes demands included a window side desk next to Van pelt and Rigsby? I doubt it tho

All i know is that this is very possible and cool.
I know it may not be LOGICAL to you or even me, but we as mentalist fans should know by now that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Case and point. PIGEON.
And if you think that i am wrong thats cool too.
But please just wait until the season is over before you call me crazy.

Ok so Rigsby is Red John's mole and this season, Red John has been giving Jane clues to lead him to Tyger Tyger, who Red John is against. Now, Red John wants to play again. Justin Bieber is Red John. He had his own rival association, which is called the Drake Association. The first person says "Baby, baby" to a "baby ooooh!" response from the second person. Bieber has a huge reservoir of followers, mainly of the female disposition. Bieber mainly targets women because he is physically weak. When Kira Tindsley did not ask for his autograph, he snaps and kills her. Bieber recently got tattoos to cover up the 3 dots, a genius move, if I may.

Lorelei says to Jane,"You're just like him." Jane was absolutely horrified when he was compared to him. I know Lorelei was angry, but I think she went too far. I saw the insult break something in Jane. The show was doomed from that point.
