IT IS NOT KRIKLAND!
That's all I have to say, and I Like Walter, that's it.
PS:
And it is not Patrick, who the hell believes this!?

People... I think i might found something a bit confusional:
As i posted before and got agreed by several people... We can 99% assume that RJ is NOT married and that he is LEFT handed. Then i was thinking about the "He is Ma..." mystery and i almost had a "revelation", thinking that could be Mashburn. Why?
Because Mashburn had several wives (unknown number)
and also because seems the smarmy guy, that could
have the RJ's connections.
There is a conversation between RJ and PJ (forgive me but i don't remember the episode's number :{ ) in which RJ tell PJ that he is going to propose (and going to marry) his EIGHTH wife!
But, after re-watching 2x13... I've noticed that Mashburn drink and interact always with his RIGHT hand.
This being told:
1. Mashburn could really be RJ but Heller get the «Hell» out of us with wrong suggestions.
2. He is NOT RJ.. so relatively to the "He is Ma..." mystery.. We can exclude that Mashburn is RJ.
Red John is Walter MashBurn (:
I think that Kirkland has nothing to do with Red John.
Do you remember Jane talking to Lennon before he was shot? Could it be the Jane hypnotized him so that Lennon said he worked for Red John.
When Kirkland talks to Lennon in the hospital, he uses the same expression that Jane used.
I am not sure yet what all this means, but I think that Kirkland wanted to know if Lennon was clear or not.
I think, Lennon never knew Red John. Jane wanted Lorelei to think that he knew RJ.
Also when Jane saw Lorelei dead he mentionned: "She had it coming". Why should he say that? Is it because she didn't say Red John's name? Because she killed Lennon?
I still suspect Walter Mashburn to be Red John. Who else would have so much influence on other people, especially women? He and Jane liked each other and also they like the same woman - Lisbon. It seemed like a game for Walter to get a date with her... just because he felt that PJ likes her so much.
Just consider this, whoever RJ actually is they have to have very set characteristics. You all remember the blind woman who had a relationship with Roy? That seems to implicate that he has a way with women if he can manipulate a blind woman into liking him...for me that eliminates the dude from the pilot who everybody wants to accuse because that guy is socially awkward. Also, RJ likes Patrick, is it too wrong to assume that Patrick wouldn't like RJ himself? I don't think so. Patrick and Mashburn got along pretty well the first time they met (and just a little sidenote, the fact that mashburn slept with lisbon opens up an avenue of possibilities if this is the case). At first, it was too obvious that Kirkland had something to do with RJ from his first scene on the show but it's hard to actually picture him as RJ. Oh and this should eliminate the theory about the dude from the pilot...Patrick never shook his hand.
Mashburn, in addition to
money, has red sweaters, slept with Lisbon (while Jane with Lorelei),
the name that starts with Ma..., he stay in reformatory, had difficult
relationship with his mother, the trauma of his girlfriend with red hair
who left him for Bajoran, his ruthless personality (who wants to have revenge on Yuri
looks like what RJ did with PJ, take away the thing he more loves - for
Yuri the company, for PJ the family - and let live), has helicopter,
plane, the limo, he likes vintage cars, hates psychics, has had several
"wives", the voice may be compatible, he like to interfere in the
investigation, is a friend of all the powerful politicals, attorney and
police chief, has never been beaten by Jane (the only), it's
sarcastic.And he's a bored dandy(remember the Aestheticism:"art and life",
"immorality but beauty" "art's work is the most important thing of the
life"etc). These ideas could be also in RJ, a showman/artist, with powerful friends, money , disciples and, maybe, important secrets on national security, for blackmail other powerful people.
P.S.
"He is Mar/n" write's hypothesis:
He is married (ring)
He is Mashburn (simply, but Heller's style)
He is Marin's (Marin County)
I think Walter Mashburn is Red John because he is only a person who slept with Teresa Lisbon and it can be more dramatic for finale episode. Loves from Turkey !!!
