I am an avid supporter of the notion that Red John shouldn't be obvious choices like Partridge, Stiles, Kirkland....I want Red John to be someone who had potential but was not one of the favorites....After 6 years of watching The Mentalist, wouldn't it be a letdown if one of the favorites turns out to be Red John....These 3 are the bookmakers favorites to be Red John but I would be somewhat disappointed if one of these 3 is Red John.....And if Kirkland is Red John, I would blame the writers for laziness....In the series final episodes when they are revealing Red John's identity, I want to be in shock and bewilderment as to whom is Red John, which would then lead me to rewatch previous episodes to observe Red John and his interaction and dialogue with Patrick....

I want the show to finish with a bang and in epic style and one of the best reveals in television history....AND after reading some of the theories, my 2 outside favorites to be Red John is Ellis Mars and Walter Mashburn.........


Red John is a showman and it's all about the performance for him.....and both Mars and Mashburn have put on quite a performance for Patrick....We must remember that Red John will not be himself around Patrick and he will put on an act or facade for him.....If Red John ends up being Mars and Mashburn, people will be talking

I think  RJ is rich and he can know people's secrect ,which is why he can control. And  RJ is Passion and calm.

HE IS MARshall mcalister...if in fact the hooker wrote it .maybe she thought he was a marshall instead of a sherriff and tried to write on the wall after rj left...cue the he's too old,doesn't have the power or charm in 3.....2...1....but before you do that i bet you 3 chicken and a cow that before rj is revealed some clues will be revealed as fake.

BULLSHIT !!!...the 7 suspects list? i don't buy it...5x22 Patrick says-" i've narrow it down to all men that could've possibly been in all of red john's murder sites." REALLY?...REALLY? in order for this to be true doesn't make sense that jane has to have proof that this seven could've been there.HONESTLY PEOPLE look at the 7 suspects you mean to tell me people than only appeared in 1 or 2 episodes could've been in all of rj murder sites?people like the sherriff or reid smith..THAT'S JUST INSULTING.WALTER MASHBURN makes more sense in more ways than one than these 2.so you're telling me somebody like kirkland,stiles, or even gale bertram were there and patrick has proof that there might have been there when rebeca was killed?...or for that matter any of this 7 could just travel anywhere any time they wished whenever rj killed somebody far away like the guy in tijuana or the reporter outside of california?...come on !!....somehow i don't see stiles,gale,...or kirkland going anywhere any time they wished because of their jobs and busy schedule...patrick also viewed the recording on the dvd long before he showed it to lisbom,is safe to think that something else could have been on the dvd after all it was meant for patrick ,which would make sense for him to break it before lisbon or anybody else sees it.and kept the info to himself.YOU HAVE TO SEE THE MENTALIST WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.if you are one of those people that say...""'rj can't be stlies ,he's too old because rosalind said...."  or  "bruno heller said patrick is not red john "...YOU CAN'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING!..is a mistery drama tv show...and if you watched any mistery,or who done movie for the past 15 or 20 years...when the killer is revealed is was most likely somebody nobody suspected..WHO YOU ASK?it could be anybody?man or woman patrick or lisbon or somebody else...all they have to do is add a few twists and fixed loose ends from previous seasons...and then you'll go back and watch others seasons and say.." of course it all makes sense,how i didnt see it before,they sure fooled me! ".....I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING..a lot of RED JOHN murders seemed to happen during the night,there's one guy that has a hard time sleeping....by the way have we ever seen what he actually does during the night??my theory is not red john's identity...i'm just saying WE can't believe everything we see...somebody asked heller " everything points to patrick being rj or having a sptit personality is patrick red john? he answered " patrick jane is not red john "...come on people..heller is going to say "patrick could be rj " !-it would take part of the fun out of the show. 2-it would take attention away from the other suspects 3.rating would go even lower.4heller would loose money..5 if in fact for some reason he is revealed as rd by the season 6 end..brunno had already milked the cow dry a)bruno is happy with all the money he made and b) audience is somehow happy that they were fooled thus making the mentalist and red john the greatest mistery ever.....HERE'S ANOTHER POINT...before the end of the season finale patrick says to lisbon...' i've narrow it down to 7 suspects...then almost at the end he get the video and gets to see it way before lisbon so... 1.what if patrick came up with more than 7 let's say for the sake of argument 8 suspects and lied to lisbon and we all know she can't tell when he is lieing...after all it took him a whole week to figure it out unlike red john.2-.patrick was able to pick  the photos only rj figured out and keep any other to himself...if patrick would have told lisbon the list when he wanted to when they went to see the woman patrick wouldn't be able to switch the photos because lisbon would have known....i'm not acussing patrick..i'm just saying he is the perfect suspect,,among a lot of reasons..PATRICK JANE IS IN ALL OF THE EPISODES.RED JOHN AS PATRICK JANE IS LIKE WALDO ....happy hunting !! and dont forget to pay atention and don't believe everything you see or hear.

hey everybody !  ..i can prove very easy that is a work by patrick and laureli martins...watch 5x16 there will be blood...somewhere in that episode laureli gets shot in the arm...later in the episode she confronts the guy that tells her that RJ killed her sister miranda...NOW notice her left arm she has a white bandage covering her wound....NOW watch the scene where she " is found dead " notice the bandage in her left arm is gone...judging by her facial expression at least to me  she doen't appear to be dead...if Rj somehow killed her wouln't there be some king of struggle or at the very least some kind of facial expression of pain or something....NOW look at the smiley face there's something odd about the face....it looks fake...for some odd reason they don't show the whole face NOW look at the left eye it doesn't look the same as in other Rj murders..the eyelid is supposed to look like a v upsidedown on the left eye.......NOW HERE'S THE GOOD ONE....look at the video in the season finale when laureli reveals the 7 suspects....LOOK at her left arm...the white bandage covering her wound she got at the 5x16 episode...THAT WAS 7 EPISODES AGO..therefore the video had to be shot after laureli killed the man that told her that RJ killed miranda and before she was found dead at the end of episode 5x16...which explains why patrick got out of there so quicky that way he would have to explain anything about the muerder scene espeacially to lisbon...MAKE YOU OWN CONCLUSION.for some reason i think patrick and laureli have a plan and teresa IS NOT IN ON IT...teresa has been very eager asking patrick about the list in a lot lot of episodes leading to the finale in one particular one even asking jane if she was on the list....what do you guys think?...i'm not acussing teresa.

last night i saw the season finale of how i met your mother...and we finally saw the mother?after so many seasons.i was really excited right before the reveal ...but right after we saw her face ...i had mixed feelings and the first thought in my head was...is this how i'm going to feel when they revealed red john?excited?dissapointed?is it going to be worth the wait?is it going to be like " monk " all over again?god help us all ..and for the love of god don't let it be a judge and then have patrick revealed that her daughter is not dead after all...or i'm going to throw my tv out the window...AGAIN.I guess is no secret that we're all going to be dissaponted and we're pobably going to care more about patrick and teresa's relationship the the actual reveal of red john....just like today that i'm starting to care more about ted's and robin's relantionship than the actual mother........there better be some exciting twists and turns next season in the mentalist...one last thing...if you are one of those people that think that brett partridge is red john..you are in for a rude awakening.think about it...at the beginning of the series we had like what 10 or 15 suspects..almost all the suspects have 3 or 4 things that made a lot of people think they were red john..whether it was the name,anagram,poetry...they all had something especially one guy brett partridge..since episode one he's been the number one suspect...there's no doubt he is going to be there when rj is reveal...BUT..if brett partridge is reveal to be red john...where's the shock value? he's been the number one suspect since the beginning....the show has been set up to make it look like anybody could be rj....and to look that brett partridge is rj...only to be revealed that rj is somebody else and you'll say..WTF!....IT HAS TO BE the least person to be suspected to be rj....somebody like reede smith or sheriff mcalister..if brett p....is revealed to be rj...America and the whole world will say...of course i knew it from the beginning...it makes perfect sense...but where's the fun in that...NO SHOCKING VALUE.

Although Mashburn is not on the list, he's a better fit than any of those on the list,

In an unrelated vein, I think it would be cool to have Red John turn out to be Stiles's son. This would explain why Visualize protects rj, how rj has access to so many wounded souls who he then turns into killers, where rj learned mind control, and rj's source of unlimited funds. If this turns out to be true, then Brett partridge is my number one suspect (family name.....Brett???) because he would be the right age to be Stiles's son.
