THE THEORIES

Linus Wagner was present at the beginning of season 1.  He impersonated Red John to commit his murder.  Why didn’t RJ murder him or have him murdered by one of his followers?  RJ had the ability to get at his victims in all different types of circumstances and does not tolerate insults.  Jane went back to visit Wagner so we know he’s alive.  What’s their (RJ and LW) relationship and why is he still alive?  Probably not RJ, but why is he still alive?

Why did Partridge and Todd Johnson say "Tyger Tyger," when they were dying?

WHY didn't they just say "BLAKE ASSOCIATION" if they were trying to tell who killed them?

Hello everybody.

I think RJ is not one person, but some persons of the black organization.

Maybe RJ is like a mask, and some persons of the black organization put this mask to kill and play with Jane.

and when Patrick said in the tv show what he thinks about RJ, all the black organization felt like injuries and then we know the history.

Thanks for reading ;) and tell me what do you think about my theory and what about yours.

Hello there.

I would just like to mention the Mentalist's Reddit to everyone, in case you haven't already seen it.

I too, check up on both websites, this one and Reddit, to see what other people thought about recent episodes.

Here is the link for "White Lines discussion," and surprisingly enough, while on this website the majority have flamed the new episode, people of Reddit have applauded it.

The link: http://www.reddit.com/r/TheMentalist/comments/1ui5u0/6x11_white_lines_discussion_thread_spoilers/

An insight on what other fans think who may not use this website.

I might get flamed for saying this, but I didn't mind the episode. I'm just very disappointed of the season as a whole with the direction Heller is heading.

Sun Tzu - "If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading."

In the Mentalist's terms - "If Heller doesn't produce a new interesting arc, this show will transform into a cop soap opera piece of crap."

It would've been better if the reason why Jane joined the FBI is like this: Abbott comes to him, shows pictures of a crime scene: a government official is killed brutally, with a red smiley face on the wall. Jane: "It must be a copycat, I killed Red John." Abbott answers: " We thought so too, until this." and gives Jane a recorded message. "Hello Patrick (saying with the same voice as in season 2 finale and season 4 finale), I hope you've been well these 2 years. You think you killed me in that park, but you were wrong. I'm very much alive. Like I promised you in Lorelei's message, I'm starting killing again. Take care of yourself and Teresa. Bye byeee....." --> Then Jane joins the FBI to catch RJ once and for all...

What do you think? I hope you liked my suggestion :)

Little hints remain in the series indicating that it's not over with RJ saga -- like the fact that Jane still wears his wedding ring as a promise to his wife and daughter to find justice for them -- which doesn't make a lick of sense if the real RJ is REALLY dead and gone.  It's been over two years now.  Seems reasonable to think that ANYONE would want to start moving on after a decade of pain and searching, and two years on an island where you don't speak the language...

Jane is pretending to believe that he's killed Red John...

because...JANE GIVES THE VILLAIN WHAT THEY WANT AND EXPECT...FOR A TIME...before he reveals his true intention and knowledge of their crime, finally capturing them.  When he captures them -- he needs PROOF.  You can't just implicate someone and expect to succeed.  They have to be caught "RED HANDED"  :p

Villain is usually arrogant enough to believe they've gotten away with it, tricked everyone -- that they're smarter than others, which is precisely when they'll make mistakes -- RED JOHN is NO DIFFERENT, just a villain requiring a lot longer time in terms of obtaining real proof.

Just when you think you're only watching the usual weekly crime solving shenanigans of Patrick Jane [having nothing to do with you know who]...

Suddenly, yup, there is it...another subtle reminder about RJ's real identity "hiding in plain sight"

A WOMAN COMMITTING CRIMES, BUT ALSO USING MEN TO HELP HER COMMIT THEM

[and a repeat of theme of water/marina/boat seen in previous episodes]
