red john is a mastermind... and his followers will do whatever he says en will follow him to the death... 

with that in mind.. i dont think its ray.

i find ray a bit goofy... the way he walks and talks,  and he makes alot of mistakes, first jane outsmarted him when he took over the team in season 3 but also in the latest episode ray was way off on the death of the guy in the hotel and became a suspect himself.  

besides that, u remember that when he went over the details with lisbon and the team he was really demeaning against them when they didnt found anything usefull. he ended with 'cioau  kids'.

for some reason i dont see lorelei and the others following him of falling in love with him, for me he doesnt smart/charismatic enough to be red john... 

and besides that, for some reason if most people after seeing this episodes think its ray.. they are just falling for the red herrings of the writers, i dont think bruno heller was preparing 5 seasons of the mentalist just so people guesses who red john was since episode 2 of this season.. just doesnt seem right

Micheal Kirkland. 

In episode 6:4 when Robert Kirkland is telling PJ his brothers sob story he says his brother disappeared, but that he knew thru his twin bond that he was dead. This story has several seeming plot holes... how did  RK come to the conclusion that it was RJ that his brother had hooked up with? MK wouldn't have said anything using the name RJ, any indicators/descriptors given to RK would have narrowed down the suspect list considerably, wouldn't it? 

RJ is not shy about leaving bodies and/or smilies on his scenes, yet RK has no proof or evidence that his brother is even dead. So why jump to he's dead and RJ killed him? 

What if MK did find someone, from what we know it would fit someone from Visualize and that person or persons helped morph him into who we now know as Red John? Visualize is about self motivation and achieving goals thru any means necessary. If MK was a sociopath or even had dormant tendencies Visualize would have helped bring them out.

Im wondering... what will do patrick jane after catching Red john?he already "killed" and admitted the red john murder'sand I dont think that he comes back to jail.

by the way? someone else realized that Cho was very distracted in the last episode? (talking with Rigsby) seemed to be on another planet and then allowed to wrap by the girl hired by Red John, maybe he's involved (forced) with the Tyger organization... (he already knows the blake's poem and also is not surprised that Rigsby doesn't buy the story of the Kirkland's death.

I'm pretty much sure that the scene in the next episode promo in which Patrick threatens the suspects is fake he's getting very close why would he get desperate now and ruin everything he has something up his sleeves like he always do it might be something like season 4 finale but this time he ( as we can see in the promo ) won't tell Lisbon about his ultimate plan to catch red john I think that things won't go as he planned exactly because he still isn't fully aware of tyger tyger conspiracy maybe that's the reason it would take us another two episodes to find out who red john is
