This is more of a wondering or comment-

A lot of you on here are pegging Patridge as Red John- yes the voice would fit and even the build I imagined Red John to have.

BUT for some reason i dont picture red john as ever having had some obvious interactions with red john, like i remember episodes where PJ and patridge were chatting away on crime scenes. Patridge sort of stood out then as the guy who love crime scenes too much- he was too conspicious. 

As for the list- I know, i know heller said "RJ is on that list"- but i really cannot see it turning out that way. The mentalist has kept us intrigued for years but the most unsuspecting people turning out to be the murder or things happening and this is WAY too obvious.

Some of the suggestions ive read here are great and well thought through but none have really thought of something that will surprise us.

After that Patrick and Lisbon visited Bertram's office and informed him about the Red John case, Bertram called someone and said that he just had a very interesting conversation with Patrick Jane. Who did he call? Red John? Is this how Red John knew about the meeting and planned the bombing?

Since the beginning of the show, the writers always came up with a twist on every
story, especially the ones involving RJ. I expect nothing less from them at RJ’s
final chapter. I strongly believe that the final 3 to 5 suspects are
misleading. It is not much of a twist there, is it?


Maybe we
should look things from a different perspective, the one of RJ’s. RJ likes to
play games but still plans everything carefully and has been ahead of everyone
since the beginning. Therefore, given that the initial list of 7 is genuine and
RJ is in it, he must have an agenda. He can either work himself out of the list
or develop a plan for a major hit on his enemy/ies at the risk of getting caught.


I don’t
believe that RJ would just sit tight and wait for Jane to get to him (even to
the point of 3 to 5 suspects) unless he knows he is dying anyway (that makes
Stiles the perfect candidate). If that is the case, Stiles must be planning something
big.


If RJ is trying
to exclude himself from the list, faking death is one logical choice (for one
having the means it should be easy enough. We have seen it happening before with
Hightower). That makes both Partridge and Kirkland (Bob
or Michael) strong candidates.


Last, if RJ
is not on the list, someone very close to Jane inside the CBI group must be the
answer!

Question?

In trying to solve this with the rest of you, I watched the promo for next week several times. It says,"the truth will uncover an even bigger lie."  Its leading you to think of Tyger Tyger. But Tyger Tyger is already uncovered (at least partially). And technically, it is not a lie. An extremely corrupt organization, yes. But a lie? I don't think so. 

So any ideas on the lie that will be "uncovered"?

For 6 years now i've asked myself 1 question, after reading a thousand of your messages on this website i never say this question ( sorry if i missed it).Red john is so powerfull cause he has a million people working for him.
My Question is :

WHO IS SO POWERFULL IN THE MENTALIST WHO CAN HAVE SO MUCH PEOPLE DOING EVERYTHING FOR HIM?

i really don't see anyone of these 5 suspects beeing Red John, well to be honest only brett stiles fits this power abbility BUT he's to old and to small indeed BUT he can manipulate all those people even TYGER TYGER so is it possible that Brett stiles orders them to kill and all of these TYGER TYGER guys are the Red John who actually do the killing part but Bret is Red John, THE Red John, and now he is dying so maybe that's why red John said on that tape with Lorelei that he wants to change things and now want to get after Patrick Jane because he (Brett stiles) is dying so cant add more monts or years to the Red john story

i think that red john is not among these 5. 3 dots only confirm about
tiger tiger organisation. What i want to know is why did Jane go to that
man alone. ( i dont know if you remember he told lisbon he was running
errands just after the meeting with that man ). At first i thought he
was hiring him for backup. But then as you know there was no sign of him
in the house so i wonder what did jane need from him i think this can
help us understand patricks plan better. so if anyone has any idea please leave a comment.
