THE THEORIES

Well, that's how I see it: there are people, I call them lower class, that accepted the fact, that Bertram is Red John. There's not too many people in that group, but still...

However, we know that they are wrong, right? That's when the middle class enters: it's McCallister! Because we see him in the promo! Now let me be clear: I know, that it's Sheriff in promo. But if you guys think, that Heller would actually allow to put the real Red John in the promo, even in this way, you are... well, you are middle class.

Then there's the elite. The people, who know, that McCallister thing is just as the Bertram thing - only a little more sophisticated. It's a trick. It doesn't matter whose your candidate: Haffner, Partdirge, any of the Kirklands or even Stiles, you are the elite. Because you watched the show, all of it's 6 seasons thoroughly, and you understand - it's never that simple. The Mentalist is all about sudden twists. And I believe, that this is what's happening. It's not Bertram. It's not McCallister. It's one of the other suspects from the list.

ANYWAY, since I'm going through surgery this week and it will not be possible for me to post here for a while, I wanted to thank you guys for all the fun we had for the last few years with guessing who's that son of a gun ;) congrats, for all those who guessed right. And remember: if any of us needs help in the future, just whisper: Tyger Tyger... ;)

The man
breaking in from the window (who indeed seems to be McAllister) has a gunshot
wound. He is probably the one who got shot in Jane’s house at the end of
episode 6. That is why his DNA was found at the scene. My guess is that McAllister
had the bomb with him and would use it in case things got ugly. Under Jane’s
gunpoint he tried to escape. He got shot but still escaped before triggering
the bomb.  That doesn’t make him RJ for
sure. Any man “innocent” or guilty who is hunted will do anything to escape. He
is at large trying to escape just like Bertram.  He can either be another red herring (the best
on for RJ’s final chapter) or be RJ for real!!!

I also
think that the scene with Partridge at the morgue and the mark (probably a
slummy tattoo removal) on his shoulder is odd. Can he still be alive?

My bet is
on a resurrection. McAllister’s or maybe Partridge’s.

Thanks for
reading.

What if RJ is no one on the list of 7? What if PJ knows that and tries to not just kill RJ but defeat him all the way from the basis to the top. He wants to crush him by revealing the whole tyger-tyger-organisation and its wirepuller RJ who blackmailed cops, judges and other people so they work for him. These people even don't know that he's a serial killer. Even Smith said that you get a phone call and asked to do something and you do it unqestioningly. He also mentioned that the tyger-tyger organisation is aware of it that RJ is a member too.

He also set a trap by saying that Bertram is RJ. The real RJ would never ever accept it that some other guy is getting famous with HIS work.

Besides we know that he doesnt want to kill PJ, he wants to play a game with him. Wouldnt he protect PJ when Bertram was about to kill him? The only person who got in the way was Lisbon (hint?). Or wouldnt he care if some random guy killed his "lifelong" friend PJ?

We also don't know what happend in the house. "Wait, no!".. who said this and why? I hope we get an answer next week.

I expected a little less action and a little more conversation. Hoped for a subtile mindgame to catch Red John, not a bloody war.
Blowing things up brutally, that's no real Mentalist-style. And then, to see a piece of Bret Stiles' body, the master himself, laying around like garbage, it hurts in all its rudeness. Maybe I'm judging too fast and they recover things in next episode...

If Bertram is Red John, and it looks like that, then maybe this was a clue after all, when at the mall he told Jane to seek help, a psychiatrist, and that he knew excellent doctors (e.g. Sophie Miller).

Lets all remember please that there is no way in hell that Bruno Heller would put the actual Red John in the promo.... like really guys?... come on

After killing Red John, Patric will simulate his own death, and he will become a lumberjack. That always happens...

Just a small obersation: has anyone else noticed that PJ ended a hypnosis by tapping on the arm of the FBI Agent who shut down CBI? PJ staging everything ;)
