Question - Not theory...

Did anyone else notice these strange interactions between Grace Van Pelt and Reede Smith?

First - As we have seen in the past, Grace is an Ace shooter so surprised she didn't at least nick Smith.

Second - Not only did she let him escape but she didn't even run after him or get in car and chase him down.  That's not like her.

Third, Reede Smith called in to Van Pelt's direct line from a burner phone AND she automatically recognized his voice when he asked for help.  Since the advent of Caller ID and Cell phones, don't think she would have known it was him via Caller ID since burner phones have no name associated with them unless she recognized his phone number since she could have called or received a call from him before from that number of his burner phone.  Even more interesting, thanks to cell phone contact lists, hardly any of us know phone numbers off the top of our head unless it is a phone number we have known for a very long time or one we have to dial frequently and Smith went from dialing to speaking directly with her.

We know from Van Pelt wearing a strapless wedding dress there are no Red Dot Tattoos on her arm/shoulder but there is, as many have said, something just not right.

One last thing, not quite right, about Grace van Pelt's recent actions has to do with her marriage to Wayne Rigsby.  First of all, dating and marriage restrictions were too conveniently lifted.  Then, when she was describing her lost love to the bride Patrick had upset, when I first heard it, thought she was speaking about Rigsby.  However, after a woman has been jilted at the altar,  or almost altar b/c you shoot and kill your fiance, a normal woman would have disposed of that wedding dress AND would not have saved it AND would not have used it to marry a different man.  Brides are superstitious enough so  most would not have kept it or wear a reminder of a previously doomed wedding.  Then, after the wedding and they are driving off in the sunset in carriage, their profiles have them just looking ahead instead of each other.  Doubt you would see that profile in a truly happily and newly married bride.  Normally a bride would be snuggling up to her new husband, especially on a romantic carriage ride.  So, after seeing a less than emotionally charged bride, the next time I rewatched that episode, it sounds like she could have been describing her relationship with Craig O'Laughlin and that she chose her job as possibly a Red John cult member to kill Craig over being happy with him and when she realized Rigsby or someone else from CBI was listenting to her she threw in a few words to make it sound like she was describing Rigsby instead of O'Laughlin.  So, if she was still in love with O'Laughlin and wanted to pay homage to him, then I can see why she not only kept her wedding dress and used it to marry Rigsby.

Green vote means you agree Grace Van Pelt's actions are quite suspicious.   Would like to see in your comments, especially from past brides, if you would have worn the jinxed wedding dress to marry the man you truly loved!  I just don't think so!

Hello people,

Six years, six seasons of the mentalist and still nobody has the answer for the big question, for six years we watched this show and yet still no clear answer or no answer at all, you can't just ignore that we must give a BIG credit for bruno heller, the way he kept his show on high level mystery for six years! i'm sorry for LOST fans but the mentalist on another planet, this is a genius work, i'm saying this because i'm pretty sure after RJ episode next week it will become a war of " i told you so, where is ..... fans now? " etc... , so i'm expecting a lot of fans will be upset as soon as RJ revealed, so my message is : " don't you ruin the moment for yourself and enjoy this masterpiece of work , trust me we won't see such a mystery show like the mentalist in at least 5 years "

Now let's talk about who's RJ, actually i really don't have a clear answer, anyone could be RJ there's clues everywhere so i don't really have one main suspect to be RJ I have three, which i'm pretty sure that RJ is one of them without a doubt, let's go,

Brett Partridge :

What makes me think that he can be RJ?

1. Brett fits the blind women description perfectly which are: 1- Just under 6 feet tall [ Partridge is 5"11 ], 2- short straight hair, gentle voice.

2. He appeared in almost every RJ crime scene.

3. He seems like creepy guy, creepy enough to be super intelligent serial killer.

4. He has almost the same voice as RJ.

5. He dislike PJ.

What makes me think he is not RJ:

1. According to bruno heller partridge is dead.

2. The actor himself said that he's dead.

3. We saw him dying.

4. Unlike RJ , Partridge fears jane.

Sheriff thomas McAllister:

What makes me think he is RJ:

1. He seems very calm and very smart just like RJ.

2. He played jane like he was nothing in S06E03.

3. He fits some of the blind women ( short straight hair, tough hands )

4. He wears same boots as RJ.

5. He was in the show from the beginning.

6. Apparently he is not dead, we saw him the promo for the next episode.

7. He wants a good relationship with patrick.

What makes me think that he is not RJ:

 ( I just have one reason )

He doesn't have the same voice as RJ not even close.

Michael Kirkland

What makes me think he is RJ:

1. He fits ALL the blind women description [ under 6 feet tall , gentle voice etc.. ]  I will focus on something she said about RJ that it doesn't fit anyone bur kirkland, " HE SMELLS OF PINE AND EARTH " remember in the red list episode, that the factory or whatever the place bob brings the fake list and torture them? That factory belongs to michael not bob and its in the middle of PINE FARM,

2. He has absolutely the same voice as RJ.

3. Remember the first meeting between BOB and PJ? that was the first time that BOB hadn't a beard! and guess what? PJ was using the same blue green cup , that brooked in the last episode [  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5-H9QGov4Y ]

4. Why would bruno heller come up with twin story? why he didn't just said brother? there should be a reason and i'm sure it's huge one.

5. He had a tough childhood and his mother killed herself in almost the same way RJ kills his victims.

What makes me think he is not RJ:

( one reason )

that he appears lately ( S05 )

I want to discuss the sequence of events in the promo for next weeks episode because I'm having a problem with it.

The promo makes it appear as if Patrick has his final showdown in the church but this last episode ended with Patrick in the church so I think that entire scene will be at the first of the show because we know we will have scenes in the graveyard, and what looks like a park when he's talking to Lisbon and the team. Plus, McAllister breaks through a sliding glass door of a home and it looks like a woman is in the corner. I think the promo is misleading us on purpose. Whoever he is talking to in the church either isn't RJ or he escapes and is killed somewhere else.

Remember that last weeks promo showed the press conference first, but that didn't happen until half way through this weeks episode.

I think the one with bald head in promo of episode8 "RED JOHN" is SEAN BARLOW.I don`t know if he has anything to do with redjohn but watch this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBepaOq3Vrw

sean barlow asks jane"THINK ON WHAT I SAID IT`S AN HONEST ADVICE FROM A FRIEND."

we know that redjohn want jane to work for him and make jane his friend.(hence he sends lorelei martins to make jane happy.....)

and when lisbon asks jane "didn`t he spooked you?" jane replies he is a good "SHOW MAN".

we know that redjohn is a showman...

THIS IS MY THEORY..

i know many things cannot be explained with seanbarlow as RED JOHN.. and i am not even sure if he is RJ..
