THE THEORIES

OK so, not completely convinced Red John is Ron, but I am convinced it isn't anyone involved in "Tyger Tyger" .. I do however think Red John has something to do with the Tyger Tyger group.  The William Blake poem, The Tyger, is first quoted by Red John, so the
claim that he has nothing to do with it cannot be true. I believe Red
John is the "Tyger" to Patricks "Lamb" ("Did he who made the Lamb make
thee?
")
I am convinced, based on religious imagery in the show, that Red John sees himself as Satan, or Satan- like figure. This is reenforced by the recurring references to William Blake, and why the next episode is called "The Great Red Dragon." (also when TL enters the house where BP is killed, 666 and a pentagram can be seen on the wall) Other religious symbolism throughout the show lends credence to the theory as well. Lorelei Martin, for example, seduces and tempts PJ with money, security, etc on behalf of RJ in exchange for the head of Theresa Lisbon, a little like Eve and/or Salome.

I think its likely that RJ possesses the same talents that PJ does for hypnotism and suggestion, and uses this to control certain members of the police and others (the "Tyger, Tyger" group etc).  He may see himself as a Satan commanding his own group of fallen angels. The police that are not involved, or the innocent members of Patricks team can be seen as the "good" angels in that analogy. (Interesting to note here that Patrick's wife's name was Angela).

Why Ron though? I think he makes sense, he has been present since the first season, he definitely has given himself a Satan-like haircut. He does clerical work, which is something PJ said of RJ in an extra scene of the pilot episode. He is involved with the CBI so that he can keep an eye on the progression of the case, as well as surround himself with death etc, but does not have an active roll in solving the cases. I like the idea of him being the "Where's Waldo" character that everyone mentions, and I like that his name is close to "Red John". We know that RJ likes to keep his alias' similar. He matches Rosalind Harker's description, and does not go against the rough picture we get from Sophie Miller.

A few problems with Ron as a candidate: I am a little troubled that the character hasn't been given a last name, perhaps he is too small of a character to be a good choice for Red John and that Rosalind did not mention that RJ had facial hair.

CBI Ron is the guy who shows up in the series in number 4 apart from our team. I don't remember Ron doing anything important just stuff like get this, send that, phone this person like that. I mean is this guy know someone from casting crew or is he RJ ?
(Seriously this guy must be a some important chacter)

RJ is definitely Ron (Red Jhon). Notice that 6 season 1 Jane chapter and section, and speaks on the phone with Red John is going through at this time in the hands of the police station over the telephone is still open RON. Meanwhile Robin is completely painted with the blood of Spoken fool screenwriters. Robin has already popped and returned to the center.

Hi I'm Ron, Waldo to intimates, or Charlie to Frenches.
I stay in the office from morning to evening, I love paperwork.
I walk through the bureau sometimes giving a few words to Lisbon's team.
I think I'm quite here from beginning.

We have to stop to over think after each episode, Heller is messing with us, we can't be sure about anything, there is no logical way of thinking.
We should just enjoy and wait until the 8th episode and pray it would explain everything.

ITS NOT RON!!!

The reason I picked him as my RJ suspect is that I'm confident hes a member of the Tiger Tiger Circle, however I don't actually think its him.

So whats with Ron?

Nothing, nothing all, which made him stood out to me. For just ordinary CBI agent, Ron gets his face on the camera a lot which raises my attention. I had my eye on this guy since early season of Mentalist, and he is still here, and even more so in season 6.

It is NOT any of the 7 suspects on that list. Really, guys? That is a spoiler already if its actually one of the 7, but it wont surprise me at all that all of them are in the Tiger Tiger circle.

So whos is RJ? I dunno guys, it could be anyone, could be a long lost brother, could be a childhood friend.

But keep your eye out for Van Pelt, the sudden romance between her and Rigsby in season 6 strikes me a little odd (or I'm just hating cuz i'm all lonely), I think the director wants us to get emotionally attached for them so that when we find out she is involved with RJ, it will make us upset.

What happen if RJ wasn't just one person? What if RJ is already dead?

Sorry guys for not concluding on who RJ is, and who RJ actually is dont interest me that much anymore, is the process and the plot twist which gets to him fascinates me more.

Kimball Cho is my boi!!!!

Red John always has a lot of intel about Patrick Jane, RJ working at the CBI, always in the background, may make some sense. Following the logic of RJ working at CBI HQ, all members of the team (Lisbon, Rigsby, Van Pelt and Cho) are ruled out from being RJ since it would make sense for RJ to come work at the CBI (to keep tabs on PJ) after PJ was hired (why would he already be at the CBI when PJ is hired ? It would probably be difficult to explain to the viewers).
However, if Ron is RJ, I cannot understand why he tried to bug the CBI. Was it to mislead PJ ? Or did somebody else tried to bug the CBI ? Probably the tyger tyger organisation ? In order to know more about PJ investigation ?
Tyger Tyger is probably a large organisation of people with a lot of means. They are (for a reason unknown for now) also trying to find who red john is. They probably also want him dead and a lot of the people on PJ list are probably member of Tyger Tyger. This would explain why they all have so much interest in PJ's investigation to find RJ.
Not much of a foolproof theory but more of a bunch of hunches. Please let me know your views about it.

This guy Ron is really bothering me. I am suspicious about him. Why is he around so much lately ???!!

In the episode where RJ draws a smiley on Lisbon and he calls PJ, before PJ get an answer he met this guy while holding his phone. :/ and it was ringing until he went around the corner... hmm.. I am wondering!!
lol just sharing.
