I think that JJ . Laroche is red john because he is mean

In "red queen" Jane tests the protection around LaRoche but putting hightower, his accused and a pawn in his power play in controlling Jane through Lisbon and the CBI team. Jane then uses the entire team to lure him out by manipulating the whole team to go against all of their training and preconceptions of authority into manufacturing the death of Rigsby and Lisbon to lure Red John out proving to Red John that the team won't be blindly lead by a figure of authority and will question every untrusted lead outside their inner circle. LaRoche abdicates his position in fear of exposure.

Second, part of the theory, repitition in the references by Red John's disciples of the poem by William Blake "Tyger Tyger" (again the reference to "red queen" where LaRoche identifies the excerpt being recited by Director Wainright) and Laroche's first names or how they are referred to "J J". His surname "LaRoche" is an easy corruption of John's own name "Red" which can become"La Rouge" french for "the red", John John the red.

From his position as internal affairs unit he can oversee, hear all and see all, on all cases being handled and have access to all files on the team.

LaRoche controls the list of suspects in the Tod Johnson case.

Jane hires Culpepper to steal from LaRoche's house and Jane maniplates LaRoche with what Culpepper finds there.

LaRoche kills the gas station attendant so is capable of killing. 

If that is not convincing enough, LaRoche even looks like the cartoon Red John paints on the wall after he kills.

It must be Laroche.  Laroche demands respect.  When disrespected he reacts. (i.e.  when Jane disrespected RJ, and thus his family murdered).  There's some tie to the figurines that Laroche has in his home too. We must find out what was in the plastic container in Laroche's safe!  Even though we may find out who RJ is this season, it doesn't mean RF will be captured... the story goes on :)

i think it is j.j laroche because at the end of s5 ep8 loralei says that they are both minipulative and very much alike which PJ and laroche are

Does anyone have any good information about J.J Laroche?

This man has always unsettled Jane, he has always been known for getting in your head and making people seem weaker than he is. He has immense power over everyone he's encountered and seems like the one people fear.

There's a number of things that lead me to question this man. His name, I know it may be a long shot but like someone else has said, its french. Red John in French is John La Rouge(similar to Laroche). Maybe one of his names "J.J" is John as well?

When Jane has that guy break into his house, all seems squeaky clean! That is of course until he stumbles across the safe. Why does a lonely lonely man like Laroche need a safe? He doesn't seem to have a great deal of wealth. And in that safe there was some kind of package that Laroche is obviously hiding and he thinks Jane knows. Also, if Laroche wasn't dirty, why would he hand the suspect list to Jane, a suspect himself!

The same episode that guy broke into his house, he recites a William Blake poem. Its just too coincidental that all of these things relate to this guy.

I think there are more people involved, as there always has been but Laroche is Red John himself. Oh and the way he loves to out smart Jane is all but suspicious now, he is also constantly in Janes face when he's around and it looks like he gains pleasure from it.

His soft voice also goes well with Red Johns character.

I am pretty sure he is Red John because he hate the whole team withouth any reasons.
Another clue is that LaRoche is a french name that mean The Rock, and in french Red John is John Le Rouge. You can see there are the same first letters: J L R
