Thank God the Haibach thing was so short.
There is not a single big storyline going on now. This means that the only story line left is going to be Red John related with Jane in court.
This also means that they are going to spend time on it and not just brush by it.

Things will be explained. Janes future depends on it.
For Jane to go to trail now means he pissed off the Fbi right?
That was Abbots deal with him.
Lisbon is leaving with Pike which makes me think more Jane blows up the Fbi relationship.
He never liked or trusted them. He only joined the fbi to check it out and like its a fishbowl.
Every tv show i have ever seen in its entirety tied up all or most lose ends.
The plot holes will be filled and ifs gonna be awesome.

well, i was disappointed with last night's episode.. not because it was a bad episode, because it was actually a very good episode.. i just personally expected/wanted more..

i, of course, will watch the rest of the season with hopes that the finale will ne good considering who wrote it.. but if the show really is just going to continue to be boring i won't watch past season 6..

i am one of the people that want the rj storyline back somehow.. he was there sonce the pilot and played a huge part in why i got so sucked into the show in the first place..
solving murders with a cooky IT guy won't do it for me.. i have criminal minds with the lovely garcia for that already..

I watched this video, and realised, when the sheriff says "The game is over and I won", his voice is like GVP-s, especially in the end. Just to mention.

Here is a theory............... lets assume GVP has ties with Red John,she probably thinks he's dead so she's out for revenge. She kills Ardiles and sets a trap up for JJ.L ,she then "hires" a hitman to stage a "shooting" to make it look like someone almost shot Rigsby.............. if you take a look at the scene where the hitman attempted to kill Rigsby,you can see he diverted his shot on purpose at the baby bag......................... and when Rigsby was behind the door he knew he wasn't standing up so he just shot the top off and was "shot" by GVP probably to make it look real. From then on she orchestrates her own kidnapping or was maybe kidnapped by the real RJ so he can tie up loose-ends. I don't think Rigsby has it in him to do these things either way.

I just watched the part where Jane enters and "greets" Vanpelt and Rigsby............. Vanpelt could barely look him in the face. The promo for the next episode is obviously a deception,by now anyone who watched old episodes of The Mentalist knows that............. how can a pedophile orchestrate such clever murders and hire hitmen and kidnappers? No way it's him.

remember the episode when rigsby gets hypnotized and jane says that he is a violent person inside if he is acting that way under hypnosis? or something like that.. i'm sure someone on here can supply us with a better dialog in the comments..
well, anyway, i always think about that episode when people say he's too dumb to be red john or incapable.. i think he's totally capable, definitely physically and quite possibly mentally too.. it still brings be back to heller's comment about red john's reveal being comparable to keyser soze from the usual suspects.. it would be an absolute perfect comparability.

which then brings me to van pelt. remember in the red john episode after lisbon and the team were arrested and sitting in the car with abbot.. van pelt was banging her head into the window like a lunatic on an episode of cops. and rigsby was acting out as well.. cho and lisbon were as calm as possible given the sitiation but van pelt and rigsby just COULD NOT accept not being present with jane.. always found that interesting..
