Well, it looks like they are getting married

I don't believe these recent murders can be attributed to him but I do believe he is at the center of the mystery.  Pattrige is to young. The first murders occurred in the late 80s and they called the perpetrator a boy if we say bp was in his mid thirties he would have been 12 or fourteen when they occurred it would be hard to believe a 12 year old could have polished his skills that well at least by himself.  Stiles has been able to build an empire showing powers of secrecy and manipulation i believe he conjured red john up to be the enforcing arm of visualize.  But he himself is to old to fit the description of a boy in the late 80s.  He has claimed an intimate knowledge of red john on a few occasions.  He also would have the skills to brainwash some one very quickly.  I also believe bertram is involed maybe stile has dirt on him and trades that for info.  Truthfully I believe at least four of the suspect have dawned the the red john name for some purpose.
  

Does anyone else feel like Sophie Miller's head is in that oven? Heller says we will find out how Red John got the happy memory info in the next episode and lo and behold her photo is on the refrigerator next to the note saying "dinner's in the oven". It's already creeping me out just thinking about it, but I can't wait!!

In the promo for 6x02 episode, you can see Sophie Miller's (Patrick's psychiatrist) face in the picture on the fridge. Above that picture is note from Red John. So, Red John probably found out Patrick's happy memory from Sophie Miller.
We know that Alexa Shultz appeared in "Red Dawn" episode where she asked Virgil Minelli to keep him in loop about Red John's case, emphasising that Patrick Jane is someone who spent a year in an insanse asylum. She is later seen with Robert Kirkland inside the limosine who thanks her for the service.
I don't really think that Kirkland is Red John: he's capable of gain information to everyone but more probably is just a good accomplice of RJ (In september 2011 Heller said that we already saw RJ in previous episods and the first appearance of Kirkland is in red dawn (2012))
so, who is Red John? I think Bret Stiles.

work for Bret stiles or Red John! She is the one who gets videos from red john and she is the one Watching Kristine, when she was adopted by red john

Has to be Bret Stiles. First of all, Red John is not that young (they said in the first crime he committed in that Barn from episode 5.13 more than 20 years ago). So, though it would've been plausible, that ruled Brett Partridge out for me (plus he is a big fan of Red John and by what we have knows RJ doesn't have the geek enthusiastic profile, and it would be very masturbatory of him to investigate and study his own crimes).

Other suspects, like Kirkland for example, are definitely connected to him but seem to lack the cunning intelligence of a mastermind criminal.

From the Red Barn episode we've also learned that Red John had a connection to Visualize, which is now led by Bret Stiles.

Bret Stils also in more than one situation shown that he is as or more intelligent than Jane. When Jane accused him (I can't remember the episode), he managed to get away and had a plan of his own. Jane (kinda) trusts him and, even if he doesn't trust him fully, he's definitely one of the suspects he respects the most (and Lorelei said they were alike).

So, he has the right age, the right background, the right connections, the right brain and the right posture.

Plus, and this may sound stupid but it's a big plus, it's MALCOLM MCDOWELL which is one of the greatest villains ever and thus being a perfect cast for this great evil mastermind.

If red john is going to kill everyone on the list, Brett Partridge is probably the best person to start with, probably the only one that doesn't carry a gun around with him every waking second, and the least powerful, brett styles will probably be the hardest to get at, if he is going to kill all of the suspects on the list that is!!
