THE THEORIES

I guess this is the end guys................ fucking CBS will rather renew Mike and Molly than our beloved Mentalist. Heller fucked up big time. Even if his new show becomes a "hit",no way in fucking hell am i going to watch it.

I see CBS hasn't renewed the show, probably because of the weak conclusion to Red John's story and the crappy new format. Congratulations on ruining the show and assuring it's death BH

I was hoping for Red John's returning and a for a better conclusion...

Come on people! Keep your theories coming! I hate to see this website silent for so long. If you don't have theories then share what's on your mind regarding the path the show is taking.

Can anyone here remember the last time a good episode of the mentalist was aired? I forgot this show existed.

I think the show will end when the real Red John is killed and at the closing scene they show Patrick and Theresa become a couple after this ordeal.

So don't know if any of you saw my other post about Stiles faking his death to return as a 'Messiah' which explains why Visualize hasn't had a word mentioned about it despite being a prominent theme throughout the show and Red John, and why we've shifted two years forward - to make the reveal more dramatic.

So I cant believe I didn't spot this before BUT in season 5 episode 8, the one where Jane enlists Stiles help to get Lorelie out of prison, he meets Stiles at the start of the episode in a cinema. He's watching 'North by Northwest' the Hitchcock classic. The two scenes they show of the film are when Cary Grant gets 'shot' and killed infront of a room full of witnesses, which the viewer regards as real.

Then the next scene we see is the one shortly after where the car carrying Grant's  'body' pulls over and it is revealed it was a ruse he struck with the woman who shot him who's been working for the FBI/government and is a spy/informant on a powerful figure. The 'he's not really dead' angle.

This is the last episode we see of Stiles before season 6 I believe.

Foreshadowing anyone? Possible? Likely? Theories?

As much as I wish Stiles was RJ don't think he is, what that may be implying is he's either 'coming back from dead' as the messiah like figure, or was working with the government or RJ reluctantly and this was a consequence of that, he may be really dead or if he was working with government and or RJ the film scene may be a nod he's coming back too.

Either way, messiah ruse or working for/with somebody I see Stiles coming back now, more than ever after that scene. He also comments on the film saying 'It's a classic, never gets old....gets better every time.'

Almost like the character Bret Stiles! Sadly very unlike The Mentalist.

Let me know if you agree he'll be back!
