Guys, let me start this gently... I know most of you are feeling let down, or tricked by Bruno Heller and his screenwriters, but let me share my theory, or at least what I think the show has been trying to build up right from the start. Red John is and always will be a mask, no matter of the man behind that mask. Red John doesn't die with McAllister! RJ is an idea, it's a belief, it's that thing you follow on instinct not on facts. For all we know the sheriff might not even be the person behind that mask, and even if he was, the next one will take his place right away. All those things have been left for the viewers to get, ....to comprehend. And many of you in your hate just missed up on all those little things we got hunched. It is as if everyone expected a superman behind that mask ... an immortal man, not afraid of anything. Well.. here the writers hit the main idea, RJ can be afraid, can be desperate, once his mask is peeled off, once he isn't RJ anymore. This proves my theory in some ways.
Just think about it, this is all I'm asking. In some ways, this is a brilliant end of the RJ saga, an open end which just makes you think, which has been the whole idea of the show.
  Just a mask...

I can't believe Red john's story will end with such a loser sheriff.. I mean Heller had so many freakin' choices to make red john(Harker,Rigsby,Jane Himself, even Bertram would have been better RJ than mcallister).. I always found it strange that there are so many red haired woman in this show: van pelt, shettrick, darcy, harker, frye.. That was just a freaking accident?, don't you fking kidding me, Heller! If this show end with jisbon shits i'am gonna be the saddest man in the world.

Hey, hey :-)

Believe it or not.... i think Patrick Jane is the Mastermind behind Red John!!!
He was it from the beginning on and now all given clues will lead us to him at the end!

Bruno Heller and Team didn't know how long they will do the series and so they created a
lot of interesting personalitys who could be Red John. If the series had to end at Season 3,
Timothy Carter would have been Red John! If the series had to end with Season 5 we would have seen Bret Stiles, Brett Partridge or somebody else as Red John, i don't know!

Then they knew, that they could bring the series to their fitting end, so a "Red John - Mc Allister" reveal during season 6 and an encore-season 7.

These FBI advertisements, also known as The Mentalist, are slowly melting my brain. The levels of propaganda on television are staggeringly obvious these days, and I remain troubled by this fact only because I know the stupid mob takes this shit serious, or at least lets the idiot box form opinions about big government being "necessary".
Why do we have to endure the FBI when CBI, a fictional agency of legal plunder, worked just fine? I mean, why does Cho and the other morons act so serious all the time? And, are we really supposed to find the stench of affirmative action interesting because it is carried on the shoulders of a once great, but entirely dead, series? Finally, does anyone really buy into the jisbon love affair as a possible hook to save this pathetic show/advertisement?
I think, and I am being serious, that I might enjoy this show more now if I were a jingoistic mental defective.

Episode 6 was very cool.
Classic Jane doing his thing and catching the killer with ease.
The tea cup from Lisbon was awesome too!
It brought back so many memories for me.

But i have a question..
Why a week after we learn of Abbots past do we get an episode
that dealt directly with someone who knew about Abbots past?
How convenient was that?
Who is pulling the strings at fbi?
Who out Abbott on this case with his friend from the past?
I forget her name but whos the Fbi directors name?
She is the woman who was on the phone with Minelli with Kirkland in her limo.
I remember last seasons finale, the case Jane completely fabricated was part of a old case dealing with the director of the fbi. I remember hearing her name

I think the writers will find a way to keep us stuck to the RJ plot, like an imitator or something like that, and we will be waiting for a logical answer forever.
