Who is Red John?

This is my third different accusation.

We know that Bob Kirkand was on a mission to identify Red John.  A person looking like Bob Kirkland killed Jason Lennon, a person known to be able to identify Red John.  Since the killer did not ask Lennon to identify Red John, the killer must have been Michael Kirkland (who already knew Red John's identity).  Therefore, Michael Kirkland is Red John or working in behalf of Red John.  In my opinion, he is Red John.

As we draw near to the solution of "Who is Red John?,"  I'd like to note that it has been a lot of fun trying to unravel all of the clues.  However, Bruno Heller's place in history will be determined in part by how well he crafts a believeable ending and whether he can keep up the momentum for the rest of the program's run.

Even though I believe Red John is still alive, I'd like to point out that the proper question may be "Who was Red John?," since he may have already been killed.  Also, it is disappointing that Lisbon did not attempt to find out what was happening just before the explosion.

I don't really think Rigsby is Red John.  However, it was weird that Rigsby told Cho that he was going to fix him up with a girl.  Then the female dectective shows up and starts coming on to Cho.  Rigsby could not have murdered her because he was at HQ as her murder was in progress.  Is this just a coincidental or maybe evidence of some unapparent connection?  Perhaps the writers are just toying with us.  Maybe Rigsby or Cho has three dots tattooed on his left shoulder.

The suspence builds!

Just a thought, what if Patrick discovers that a member of the CBI team has a three dots on his/her shoulder?  For example, I've always thought that Lisbon's participation in the poker game was just a little weird.  Perhaps information is being unknowingly passed along that way.

I guess the hardest thing for me to grasp is the manner in which the various associates of Red John are so devoted to him.  They speak of him like they know him very well, but they come from such a wide range of the spectrum.

Under what setting could they have meet him and gotten to know him so well?

The church seems to be an obvious choice.  Brett Stiles is too old, but more importantly doesn't really seem to have complete control of the church.  It's like he wants to use Patrick to regain the edge he has lost within the church.

Ray Haffner seems to be frustrated in love and wants to be more worldly like Patrick.  He fits the bill of a person that may have enough low cunning to get control over the others within the church, but not enough flair to get the girl.  Brett Stiles had the second characteristic, but not the first.

The three men meeting at CBI may actually be trying to steal all of the thunder by solving the case of the century.  None of them really seem very smart and may be seeking each other for support.  None of them have been shown to be bad men - yet.

On the contrary, Bob Kirkland is a bad man - having committed murder.  However, he has a quality that he is working for someone, not a leader.

Lastly, the cast on Lisbon's arm seems odd.  There may be a simple explanation, such as she hurt her arm but they had to keep filming (like when James Garner's legs gave out during the production of the Rockford Files).  But I have a feeling that something is going on with her which Patrick doesn't know.  Even so, he is using her to feed false information to someone such as her poker partners.
