Who is Red John?

Theories of fairyface2013 (8)

In Red Hot, when Mashburn first arrives, he acts like he can't remember Lisbon's name. Then a little while later he is calling her "Teresa". That is strange to me, how did he all of a sudden remember her name? Also in the same show, in the beginning when he is talking, close your eyes and listen to his voice. In Red All Over, when Patrick introduces Lisbon to the little girl, he says "Theresa" the same way Red John says it at the end of S6E1. A previous poster had asked about this, but I can't find the post now.

Does anyone else feel like Sophie Miller's head is in that oven? Heller says we will find out how Red John got the happy memory info in the next episode and lo and behold her photo is on the refrigerator next to the note saying "dinner's in the oven". It's already creeping me out just thinking about it, but I can't wait!!

Did anyone else notice during the episode "There will be blood", when Bertram is talking to Kirkland right after he comes from behind the door where he was listening, he says "clearly he/she knows more than she's saying". He actually says "he/she". Ok you hard core mentalistas, please check it out and let me know your opinion on this.

Not a theory, but a question. Did Heller say it was definitely one of the seven or did he just say "you can trust the list"? That was Red John's list, not necessarily Patrick's list.

I just re-watched Red John's Rules. After Patrick calls the number written on the wall at the murder site, he says "Child Protection Services Carson Springs...well when I was a kid, I spent a little time there". It just occurred to me that is when the "happy memory" could have been relayed. They keep records no doubt on the children who come through there. I've been racking my brain about the "happy memory" and have previously thought it was discovered when he was institutionalized, but it makes more sense that it could have come out say with a therapist when he was younger and that he forgot about it. The files would be easily accessible to Ms Gotlieb. Also something that really stands out to me is when Patrick and Lisbon are talking in the car, he says "Assuming Lorelei is telling the truth...". Why didn't he say, "assuming Lorelei was telling the truth"? Can't wait til the new season!
