Who is Red John?

Theories of d666q_3 (25)

Not a theory.

I just wanted to point to the fact that there are hidden clues in Green Thumb.

I am not sure what they mean but i wanted to share them.

The case is supposed to take place in New York, however i believe it actually happens in LA.

The flighttime between Austin and New York doesn't add up.

In the satellite map you can see the blue water tower on the roof of the Schneidermans building. When Abbot and Fischer go there to look for the body we get a look at it.

It has the logo of Meruelo Maddoxx Properties.

They were a real estate firm that owned comercial properties in downtown LA. They filed for bankruptcy March 26th 2009. The successor is EVOQ and went into business June 2011. It was said that the building was introduced as an abandoned storage building. That could be a clue that time line wise we are in this in between period.

http://www.evoqproperties.com/about-evoq/

From the window of Schneiderman's loft we can see the George Washington bridge on the left side from the top we see the Brooklyn Bridge also on the left side.

The Hot Dog Stand that Jane buys the hot dog from has California liscence plates.

This isn't a theory! I
just wanted to point out some serious timeline issues:

Timeline wise the earliest
episode is S05E05 Red Dawn.

As far as i know it isn't
possible to put an exact date on those events. The only reference in
that respect is the portrait of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Governor. He
was Governor from Nov 2003 until January 2011.

So if the picture as a
time reference can be trusted the episode must lie within that time frame. It is also said time lie about 1 year after the Jane
murders. So the time frame there is 2002-2010.

By the end of
that episode Jane has gotten the Job of consultant. Also Steve
Hannigan gets transferred and Grace is thrown into the mix as a
replacement.

Assuming there is no in between replacement we know
nothing about she must have gotten the job shortly after that
episode. The time in between can't be more than a few months.

In S01E01 Rigsby
actually wears the same leather Jacket as in Red Dawn, but got arid
of the Goatee.

On the second case of the double murder, Jane meets
Van Pelt for the first time. As he hasn't met her on the first murder
two weeks earlier in LA so she could have joined in the meantime. In
any case we are most likely only moths in from Jane joing the CBI.

Jane did join the CBI
about one year after the murder of his family therefore we must be at
about 1,5-2 years after the murder.

Now there is the first flashback
to Jane doing a psychic reading in the TV Show.

The caption tells us this
happened 5 years ago.
Therefore it must be 3 years prior to the
murders. The second flashback continues in the same TV show with Jane talking
about Red John. His voice keeps on talking while the camera cuts away to a BMV
driving in the moonlight. Then there is another cut to Janes house where
he walks up the stairs and discovers the note and the red smiley.

Now
if this is in fact the scene where he finds his wife and child this
cut must be a jump of about 3 years a head.

Killing Red John,
without killing Red John.

In order to answer the
question who is Red John the definition of who or what Red John is
vital.

Patrick Janes quest has
been one of personal revenge for the murder of his wife and child. To
him Red John is first and foremost the killer of his family.

I believe PJ has succeeded
in his quest by killing Sheriff McAllister.

To the common viewers
definition of Red John is much wider. Red John is the killer of many
people, he has superior intellect and ability to manipulate people
and has been ahead of Patrick for 5 seasons now. There are various
accomplices and clues given to his physical appearance as well as to
his psychology.

Now I don't think a Red
John fitting that description has been found. And maybe he will never
be simply because the concept is flawed by false assumptions.

Many people have argued
that the choice of McAllister was just random and that Heller didn't
have a plan and made everything up as he went along.

I am trying to show
connections that suggest the opposite.

There has been an ongoing
theme of twins throughout the show. Maya the victim of season 1 was a
twin, there were the twin horses Castor's Folly and Pollocks Dream
and many more.

Thomas
is of Aramaic
origin and literally means twin.

The twin theme has been
reinforced with by the blake poem in S02E23. The poem also introduced
the theme of trinity (Creator, Tyger, Lamb).

McAllister was introduced
in S01E02. In that episode the male murderer was called
Malcolm. The actor playing Bret Stiles is called Malcolm
McDowell.

Bret Stiles was introduced
in S02E20. The victim in
that episode was called Xander
Harrington. The actor playing McAllister
is called Xander Berkeley.

The
victim was killed by his father
Alex Herrington,
because he thought Xander
had betrayed him. In the end we learn that it was in fact Xanders
brother Ed' or Edward
Harrington who betrayed his father.

Alex
was the name of the character McDowell played in Clockwork Orange,
that ultimately made his career. Also if u combine Alex
and Xander you
basically get Alexander.

Now
the actor playing Ray Haffner is commonly referred to as Reed
Diamond, but his full name is Reed Edward
Diamond.

In the beginning of S02E23
Patrick is on a date with
Kristina Freye. Out of the blue she starts channeling the mother of
the waiter. The name of the mother is Janis. Janis
is a variation of the name Jane.

The
Roll tide
reference is linked to an Uncle Ed' Edward
the brother of the mother, who supposedly played tight end for the
Alabama
Crimson
Tide
in the 60's.

The
football stats reveal there is nobody by the name of Edward
that played this position for the Crimson
Tide
in that period.

The
name Edward is used only 3 times over the course of the show:

S02E20
Edward Harrington

S02E23
Uncle Edward

S04E05
Edward Fisher (the drug addict gardener)

In
an interview Heller referred to the Partridge death scene in
season six. He said there was a cryptic clue inserted that would only
make sense once all was revealed.

Now
I believe this clue is the number 666 as well as the devils pentagram
on the door. I see that clue not pointing at some random satanic cult
but at the beast 666:
Aleister Crowley!

Spoken
out loud Allister and Aleister sound vitually identical. The Red Barn
is often called Elliston farm because she is supposed
to be located in Elliston, CA. There is no such place. Spoken out
loud Elliston is very close to Allister/Aleister. The Sheriff Bret
Stiles used to cover up the Farragut death: Sheriff Elliot Ellswood.

Aleister
is a
name
Crowley gave himself. His birthname was Edward
Alexander

Crowley! He called himself a black magician. William Blake is one of
the Saints in O.T.O (Ordo
Templi Orientis)
in which Crowley was heavily involved.

O.T.O
use a Lamen that looks like that:

http://www.gnosticmass.com/Lamen-white-tbkg.gif

You
can see the eye as the symbol of visualize, the bird that have been
popping up everywhere lately and the cross that Lisbon is constantly
wearing.

For
a short explanation what a lame is:

It's not a theory i just
wanted to share some stuff i noticed in the last episode Green Thumb.

There are a couple of very
weird things slipped into that episode.

The location of
Schneidermans flat is said to be 2781 Riverside Road New York. From
that place it seems reasonable to see the Geroge washington bridge.

The view from window of
the living room reflects that. On the rooftop however when Jane and
Defiance do their ritual we get to see the brooklyn bridge that looks
simular but is loacted somewhere else. It can't be seen from where
they are. It is shown like bad green screen footage the kind you
would expect from a 70's movie.

When Fisher and Abbot
return to find the scene whe get a view of a water tower. It has the
blue logo of Meruelo Maddux Properties Inc on it. They are a bancrupt
real estate firm with properties only in LA. After the bancrupcy MMPI
turned into EVOQ Properties which has a green logo.

I also wanted to point out
that there was an exceptional amount of identity innuendo:

The psychic from cuba, the
left vs the right fingers, Coyote and the Roadrunner as a cartoon and
criminals, Schneiderman as the victim, killer and victim again.

There is also a very nice
dialogue between PJ and Defiance (what a name):

“Defiance: But none of
that explains who took Abel from the building.

PJ: No, it doesn't,
because I don't think Abel ever left the building. If my suspicion is
correct, he is still here, and he is still very much alive. One of us
needs to stay here with Defiance.”
